Horrible. Ant in the bed, flies in the room. Heater was not working and when I told the staff, they told me either I can stay or leave.

Loved the room, was everything you need for an overnight stay and only just 5 min away from dwcent pubs and clubs, out the way enough to not have any trouble but on an industrial estate so can be noisier than normal in the morning but didnt really bother us.. overall a decnet night stay for decent money

Went to Wakefield at short notice, with 2 very good friends instead of an overly expensive long weekend in Morecambe! Stopped 2 nights had an excellent time. Will be going back to Wakefield again.

Cracks in the sink and mirror were not nice, nor was the cleaner walking in to see me putting on my makeup at 11.15am, when we were told (I actually questioned it with the night porter, as it said online 11am) and it was written that check out is by 12pm... It's basic and clean, so that's all I cared about and needed for the night.

I was disappointed as a disabled person in a wheelchair that there was no ramp to access the reception area to book in. I had to ask 2 other residents to help lift my chair over the ridge to enable me to get into the building. Consequently I was unable to get to reception to ask questions or to get further sugar and milk. There was no bin in the bathroom to dispose of sanitary items. The room was very cold. The heating was not on. I had to go out to get a hot water bottle to warm my bed and myself up. Bed was comfortable and other facilities adequate.

Dear guest,thank you for the feedback which is very important to us.It is not clear what time yoiu checked in but there is or certainly should always be someone available to assist.The heaters in teh bedroom are manual - not centrally heated so guests can turn on and off and up and down as you prefer.Tea and coffee facilities are available in the room and extras replenished daily if requested. Any of my team would be more than willing to assist but I am very sorry that this occurred and you seemed unable to get refreshed supplies.There are bins in every bathroom and every bedroom, I have since checked all and there are no rooms without. Perhaps it was an oversight but I will ensure that there is ample extras in especially our disabled bedroom.

Overall, my experience at the property was satisfactory. Would I book it again for a work trip? Absolutely. However, I wouldn't choose it for a romantic weekend getaway with my partner. It's precisely as advertised - a budget hotel. The Good: The beds were clean and comfortable, the bathrooms were well-maintained, and we were provided with fresh towels throughout our stay. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Room for Improvement: The decor felt like a throwback to the mid-70s, and the room could benefit from a fresh coat of paint. The carpets appeared worn, and the curtain sliders could use some attention. Restaurant could use with a decent coffee machine. These minor issues aside, it was a decent stay overall.

Had a leak from the tap on sink was immediately offered another room we felt that it wasn’t necessary and asked for a bucket to put under sink stayed here many times since Nov last yr on a weekly basis as my son is in hospital went across for a coffee and was given it free of charge because of the sink tap leaking see u Guyana t Saturday❤️

Have stayed in Campanile hotels before in France, but this was not as good unfortunately. Room was very small and too warm, even having turned the heater right down! Beds were very spongy and uncomfortable. However the room and bathroom were clean but only one bath towel for 2 guests! Restaurant not open on Saturday evening. Breakfast was adequate.
