Very nice hotel close to all venuesPosted Aug 11, 2015
Pros: The hotel was very clean also liked the security of the hotel , we found that very good as no one off the street could just walk in and use the lifts.
Cons: I think it would be nice to have hot plates for breakfast as our breakfast was cold having used cold plates.
Location: Location was good once we had found the Hotel.
it was a great break and got round to visiting the places we had ticked off, the armouries, corn mill and Victorian arcade.

concert at millenium square leedsPosted Aug 6, 2015
Attended concert at millenium square which is litteraly 2 minutes walk away , hotel is ideal situation smack in the middle of everything you need , could not get over how quiet the room was , staff are friendly and helpful, really nice , clean rooms , the bed did seem a bit firm for us but not uncomfortable , would definately stay here again

Cons: Not allow queues to form at reception
Arrived after long drive and finding the light q parking difficult to locate we found we were third in queue at reception. Three desks one staff member. After I long time I asked why is there 3 desks and one team member? Answer gone upstairs. Shame this was first impression as room was lovely and we felt the breakfast gave a great choice and was well cooked. Very well located Hotel.

Really nice hotel in a great location in centre of Leeds. Discounted parking made in easy to park close to hotel. On arrival the room we were allocated felt a bit exposed with windows facing out into corridor. We contacted reception and they immediately changed our room to an outward facing one. Service was really good and plenty of options with the breakfast. Really pleased with our choice of hotel for what was a great weekend in Leeds.

Great hotel, there is a night rate for parking!Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Breakfast, city centre and the parking next door
Cons: Notified the room had disabled handles all over it as it let the room down
Location: Nice Italian just up the road, expensive drink but nice food
Before booking we rang about parking as it said there was a reduced rate for guests and were told it would be £13 for hotel guests, even when we enquired about the night rate that the Q park has on its website. When we left the reception staff told us that there was a night rate as we had arrived after 6pm and were leaving before 9am, so something to remember if anyone is going. Room was clean and bed was comfy although we wondered if all the rooms were the same as in ours the bathroom felt like a disabled toilet with handles everywhere and an alarm by the toilet. Just let it down slightly. Wifi was slow and the shopping centres that we could also pick up was slow, ended up using the iPads 4G Breakfast was lovely and the best part of the stay by far, so much to choose from!

risig service i restaurangenPosted Jun 4, 2015 on Hotels

a bit half halfPosted May 18, 2015 on Hotels
stayed in the hotel for a visit to Leeds with my other half,ok give the fact the hotel was being renovated I suppose I can't complain much, but there was a few niggles that shouldn't have happened. we booked online so in doing so your guaranteed a room ,as we arrived we were told our superior room what we booked wasn't available and would need to wait while they looked into this, not what you wanna be doing after a 2 hr journey at night.we were sent away to sit in the temp bar with free drinks for the inconvenience while they sorted it out,(this was only suppose to take 20mins max) An hour later we decided to check on the situation.again apologies were given but this time no rooms were available.how can this be when it was pre booked.after another ten mins of waiting etc we were finally given our superior room, they were spacious, mini bar to pay for, tea/coffee amenities, all the usual, we only had a faulty iron in the room , bathroom not very sound proof and see through not something you'd expect and should be privately separate. only good thing about the hotel is that its within the locations for shopping and the top bars and restaurants , otherwise don't think we'll stay again
