Beyond 5 Star in Service, Quality and ValuePosted Mar 2, 2015 on Hotels
I'm a consultant/contractor and have spent (literally) years of my life in hotels and corporate apartments. Residence 6 is now at the top of my list of elite accommodation in Leeds. The service, facilities, location and overall experience is beyond 5 Star (and I've stayed at world renowned properties that cannot compare to what I experienced at Residence 6). I look forward to my next visit to Leeds, even if it's only to visit this property again.

We booked two apartments, wereade very welcome on the Friday evening. Apartments very comfortable. Lovely bed and ensuite bathroom. You can walk into the trinity centre for shopping in two minutes, easy to drop bags off. Excellent restaurants and bars nearby. A very nice stay. Would recommend and revisit

Up to usual high standardPosted Nov 2, 2014 on Hotels
I am a regular visitor and am always impressed by Residence 6, the apartments are nicer than ever now they have been redecorated. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Just one small niggle as there was no frying pan or grill pan to cook bacon for breakfast.

Central location, great residencePosted Aug 25, 2014 on Hotels
We stayed in a 2 bed apartment. It was great for us as it was central to the city centre and across the road from the shopping centre and train station. The rooms were clean and well presented and the hotel staff were all very professional

Fantastic Hotel Completely let down by the bedsPosted Aug 11, 2014 on Hotels
The hotel was very well located for bars / restaurants and shopping. Staff very professional and attentive. The actual room was perfect and the decor to suit all of this is let down by the fact the bed would just about be ok for a 5 year old !! Way too small in today' standards and left overall a poor impression when it could so easily have been excellent !

Wonderful central apartment hotelPosted May 3, 2014
Cons: The sheets didn't live up to the overall quality of the room, and did effect my sleep. Marmite and fresh coffee with be a real treat too.
Easy walk from the train station and well situated. This hotel conceals wonderful apartment rooms, consisting of wet room bathroom, large bedroom and living space with kitchen adjoined. Enjoyable little touches such as bread already in the room, with a selection of conservatives as well as a chocolate bar. Thank you for a wonderful stay

let down by a few detailsPosted May 1, 2014
Cons: Check in Quality control of rooms Quality of staff service
Location: for business so not relevant
Great location but let down by not paying attention to detail. Very slow check in procedure, air conditioning not working, TV remote not working on an old TV, docking station not working, woken up at 4am by the fire alarm and then a gruff night porter marching around the apartment endlessly. I regularly stay in 5* hotels including the 7* star Emirates Palace for the past 25 years and for the price its not worth it.....a bad nights sleep with not functioning facilities....a last chance saloon if you are desperate and dont mind the cost.
