The staff was very pleasant. The property is beginning to show its age, but is still ok. We did experience difficulty with our door latch being very hard to open if in room & wanting to exit. And once outside of room, we had to literally pull hard on handle to insure the latch engaged securely. One day, after being away for 7 hrs, we returned to find the door lock had not engaged after housekeeping had cleaned our room. The door had been left askew & easily recognizable that is was not closed, thus all one had to do was gently push on door & it opened, so our door had been left unlocked all day, providing easy access into our room. Luckily nothing had been taken, but it was quite alarming. We reported the problem & ask maintenance to repair the latch, but this didn’t happen. Apparently the housemaid was made aware the next day to pull the door shut tightly & check to insure it was securely locked. But it was still very difficult to open the door from inside room & posed a safety hazard in trying to exit quickly in case of emergency. This really was a problem & needed to be addressed by repairing or replacing the door latch.

I will personally make sure the maintenance department looks into that right away, as keeping our guests safe at all times is the main priority. Great location for restaurants and shopping. Pool was nice and facing the sun so great place to sit out and relax.
