Amazing place to stay

Posted Mar 15, 2018
The host is excellent, going the extra mile to make your stay a memorable one. From the friendly welcome to the smell of hot bread waiting for you, snacks and drinks to enjoy. Lovely large soft towels, comfy bed & pillows. A large rain shower with plenty of pressure. I can not recommend this place enough.

Beautiful and cute

A lovely comfortable colonial cottage with all amenities. Great position, clean, and full of character. Although on the main street within walking distance of shops and the hotel, there is very little traffic and there is almost no noise. Highly recommended.

Loved the place. Quaint cottage. Breakfast provisions of eggs, bacon, juice, home made bread and jam was a great personal touch.

Thank you Jodi for your kind review. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay and loved the breakfast provisions. Not only is the bread home-made, fresh for you, but many of the condiments are also home-made by Amanda using in-season fruit. Blackberries are just finishing off now, so blackberry jam will be available very soon. All the very best...........

Thanks Yeshayahou, There is so much to see and do in Northern Tasmania! You really can't go wrong basing yourself in Westbury, being so central to all the fantastic attractions in the north. You truly can stay here for over 2 weeks and visit something different every day - all within 45mins of the cottages. Thanks so much for your review................Danny

Thanks so much for your kind review Robert, We absolutely love having kids here. We've recently put some chooks in the back yard and are growing even more veges for guests to pick their own produce. The kids really enjoy seeing where their food comes from; truly paddock to plate!! Safe travels..............Danny

Excellent cottage in a beautiful area.

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Nothing really.
This is a colonial cottage but has all the 21st century facilities. The village of Westbury and Deloraine are well worth a visit.

Thanks Jeff for your review. There certainly is plenty to see and do in our region. You could easily spend a week here and drive no more than 1/2hr and see something new every day! Safe travels...........

Cons: The rooms were very cold. If the fire could be turned on prior to arriving to warm it up.
Very cosy with great food to prepare own breakfast.

Hi Debby, Thank you for taking the time to review our cottages. We always appreciate any feedback our guests can provide to help us make our cottages even better. Amanda absolutely loves preparing the breakfast provisions for our guests. The bread is always fresh, being baked same day by Amanda. She regularly wins awards at the local show for her efforts too :) Thank you also for your comments regarding the fire. All cottages have gas log fires that do heat the room up quite quickly. However, we will be adjusting our room preparation practices to ensure the fires are lit and rooms warmed-up in preparation for check-in. All the very best............Danny

Our stay was awesome. The hosts nailed it when we walked in to the cottage to the smell of freshly baked bread and muffins! The fridge stocked with fresh ingredients for breakfast was a winner as well. The cottage was truly charming. Believe me, from a couple who love modern touches and luxury, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay!
