"Clearly an old hotel with a fresh lick of paint. It was like staying at an Easyhotel. very few creature comforts but it was clean and did the job. "

"We went to Edinburgh for my brother to play in a squash tournament and we toured Edinburgh while he played. We took the bus or walked everywhere. The location and amenities at the hotel can’t be beat."

"The accommodation itself was in excellent place and had a wide parking area so no stress to find reliable places to park car over night. The rooms were clean, staff was excellent and breakfast had a lot of variety and selections with healthy options and was able to take breakfast away too. The staff was very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. Overall had a great time and was happy upon leaving."

"We loved our stay here in Edinburgh. Not only was the hotel perfectly central, easy to get to from the train and bus station, it was also beautifully clean, soft big towels, spacious rooms for city center, and had a delightful staff. They were very helpful and kept our bags for us for additional time so we could site see without dragging them along. I was travelling with my children (ages 4 and 8) so the bunk bed option was perfect. They also had a lift to take us to our floor (which we didn't have the luxury of in London). It made travelling with kids easier. The hotel also had a "press to open" door so it didn't stay open in the cold and to any which person. You also needed to key past the hotel desk with your room key to enter the corridors. It made our stay feel even more safe. I really appreciated this hotel. Well done! "
