The parking fees are too expensive. The parking fee was 1600 yen for one night as a staying guest if you had membership of the Daiichi Hotel chain. Now they are charging 2200yen if you make reservations through Expedia. Tokyu Rei In Kichijoji is 1300 yen per night.

Everyone and everything about this hotel is excellent- I’ve travelled to many countries and stayed in many hotels and this rates as one of the best in terms of location, 5 mins from one of main railway and bus terminals in Tokyo, friendly, helpful staff, cleanliness, particularly at this time, very reassuring, and all else.

The entrance after hours is a little unusual, but the rooms are quite nice and the facilities are great. The neighborhood and nearby park are awesome!

Nicely appointed rooms with great service!
Good location a short walking distance from such awesome izakayas like Yaguya (female-friendly pub) and Bakawarai (super fun), as well as Harmonica Alley. Super close to department stores and Uniqlo. The staff are extremely hospitable and helped us get our luggage shipped to the next hotel. We did not try their buffet as it didn’t seem worth the price when you have such amazing places to eat nearby. The room was a bit on the shabby side (stains on some of the seating and fraying on the edges of the beds). However with the high ceilings and low profile beds, the room felt very spacious. The walls are a bit thin so if you have some boisterous neighbors, you will be able to hear everything. Beautiful hotel, highly recommend it!

Fantastic
Fantastic. Warm staff, comfortable room, great amenities. The breakfast is excellent and caters to both Western and Japanese palates. I arrived very late at night (1:30pm) and the staff were still on form. Almost walked past the place - the entrance is up the escalators on the 2nd floor.

Perfect for us. My wife has stayed before and loves the breakfast. Smell of smoke but we knew we were booking a smoking room to gain a larger room. It didn't matter after the first 10 minutes. In particular I thank the cleaning staff who kept the room to a very high standard. They changed our sheets when there were issues without any notification. It is our hotel of choice when staying in Tokyo. Just 30 minutes to anywhere. Kichijoji and the hotel make us feel welcome and a part of the area despite the language issues. I had more trouble organising a Chinese meal in Wolli Creek, Sydney the day after our trip.

I was not so happy with the smoking room because of the scent used to eliminate the Tabasco smell. However, the other non-smoking room was comfortable and clean. the front staffs are very friendly and helpful

Quick visit to Kichijoji - adequate hotel. A bit confusing on enrty - you go up the escalator to the 2nd flow. The Atrium reminded me of the Embassy Suites but 3/4 scale. Rooms are small -typical of Japan. Wifi is good -TV channels cater more to Japanese bisunessmen.

A good stay
An up-market hotel at heavily discounted prices via Hotel.com in the heart of Kichijoji, a suburb of Greater Tokyo. There is free 10-pin bowling and discounted meals available. Rooms are small compared to European standards but adequate. There is daily cleaning; and one is asked daily if the cleaning meets one's approval. All staff were very helpful. Wheelchair access is good. Buses and trains are within a five minute walk.
