Good family hotelPosted Aug 24, 2016
Pros: Family friendly. Lovely pool. Helpful staff.
Cons: Cleanliness in some areas. Beds were not well made
Location: Trip on the Viking ship Water sports in the bay Shopping
Had pleasant 2 night stay with family including 2 children. They enjoyed kids club daily and also the swimming pool. We ate in the bar first night which was reasonably priced and food good. On second night we ate in restaurant which was excellent- both service and food. On the whole it was an enjoyable stay. On the negative side, some areas of the hotel could have been cleaner - in the bar and around the front door

Great setting and well maintained hotelPosted May 28, 2016 on Hotels
Great hotel if it had a few more doors, the size of the place means a lot of walking just to get to the one and only exit door. Generally the hotel is very good and the grounds, setting and breakfast are without fault and staff were very helpful in all our dealings.

One of the best views from the hotelPosted Apr 19, 2016
Cons: Towels in leisure centre
Location: Easy drive to Athlone
Booked a family room. Got R376 overlooking Lough Ree. Just beautiful. A little noise from the lifts but it was a week day so not so much. Would book again. Check in can be a little long as the hotel is really busy especially at weekends. Swimming pool is fantastic for the kids though really warm but bring your own towels as the leisure centre ones are wearing thin.
