Quirky and well-run

Interesting and unusual wee place - proper starched white bedding and a comfortable mattress but informal, with slightly gap year decor. None of the coldness of some guest houses or the social discomfort of the kind of B and B where you feel you are in someone's house, although in fact the friendly and efficient owners do live in a wing of the building. Plenty of privacy. Tea and coffee-making facilities available in the comfortable kitchen/sitting room rather than in the bedroom. Lots of good books around to borrow, and good art work to look at.
