Rented a room for 5, was told when I showed up only had two queens. Luckily they had a rollaway. Then asked for extra blankets and was told they only had one. Wife went back to get another and again was told only one. Unsure why they are so stingy with blankets for 5 people.

Great stay. Took 3 teenage boys to Granite peak on Saturday and stayed here after. Service was great, clean, and the best Fairfield breakfast I have seen.

Nice stay. Took care of our needs.
Everything was fine. I'm not sure whether the breakfast was special for New Years' Day or your usual spread. It was elaborate compared to most so I'm assuming it was a special occasion breakfast buffet. Nice to have fresh fruit in winter.

I have nothing but praise for the Fairfield Inn in Wausau.. friendly / clean / easy on / off the hwy.. everything i was hoping for on this business trip.

Great place to stay, highly recommend it!
Check in was easy, the bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked great and the breakfast was one of the best continental breakfast I have had at a hotel. Some many options to choose from. We will definitely stay there again it checked all the boxes, everything was excellent!

Clean, Quiet and Comfortable
My husband and I were visiting family for the weekend. At the time of reservation, I requested the top floor for the hope of less noise as I just don't sleep well away from home. A lot of times, hotels do not accommodate that request. We were very pleased to find out that our room was on the top floor at the end of the hallway so we only had one room next to us. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast too as it had so many offerings and everything was always kept full. We will be staying here again when we come for a visit.

The front desk staff was very nice, and the check in process was quick and easy. We only did a quick stop over on our way up north, but the property was clean and bright!
