“You get what you pay for. The Inn was probably built in the 70s and was very unattractive. The room was cheap. The check in was underwhelming, the room smelt of dampness, mould and cheap detergent. I never took my shoes off due to the dirty carpet and brown stains on the bathroom floor. There were black hairs all over the bathroom and in one of the beds and may be others but we chose not to look. Light came through the bedroom blind. “We had a fantastic meal, nights stay and breakfast at The Feathered Nest Inn, it was a great experience. Right from the start we felt welcomed, the room was spotless and the views overlooking the countryside was idyllic. “Luxurious room! We splurged for the nicer room and wow! Wonderful staff, good beer selection. We needed to leave early the next morning so the chef packed us a picnic breakfast with lots of fruit, a blt sandwich, crackers and jams and cookies. “We absolutely loved staying at Number Four at Stow. It was our first time in the Cotswolds. The hotel is really confidently located just outside of the town of Stow and it overlooks the beautiful English countryside. The room was spotless and inviting.
