This is definitely not a WYNDAM

Posted Sep 14, 2017
Pros: The morning check out
Cons: Clean it. Grimy and remove the creepy full wall of mirrors
KIND OF PLACE TRUCKERS TAKE HOOKERS TO. The hotel was definitely not a Wyndam. Been to nicer motel 6

Window in my ground floor room wouldn't close and lock properly. Staff could not move us to a different room because the "new room" would be more expensive. Staff installed a window lock on the track of the window. Overall the hotel is old and beginning to be run down.

Quiet place to stay, west of Albuquerque.

Easy check-in, quiet room, even though we were next to ice machine. Close to gas station and a few restaurants. Great view of Albuquerque down in valley. Breakfast was very fresh Danish rolls and scrambled eggs.i don't drink coffee. But it was available.

We had a small pet so we had to stay in one of the few pet designated rooms. It smelled badly. The tub and sink didn't drain well. The floors looked like they had been recently redone but not done well and with poor craftsmanship. Room a/c did work well. The continential breakfast was a joke, poorly stocked and poorly attended to afterwards. We finally had to eat breakfast somewhere else for all 3 days. We had two rooms for 3 days and were very disappointed. We won't be back.

You get what you pay for

Cheap hotel, tiny room, outdated and unkept facilities. The staff is very nice, but that couldn't make up for the location and state of the facilities. Travelled with my family and didn't feel safe in this area. Also, was concerned about my car being parked there.

Dear Warren, Thank you for sharing your recent experience with us. I apologize for not being able to meet your expectations during your stay. We are in the process of updating the guest rooms with new furniture with the goal of not only meeting but exceeding out guests' expectations. I am glad to hear you had a good experience with our staff. We understand the concern out guests may have leaving their vehicles parked in an unknown area of town, but we do have security cameras on site, a gated section of the parking lot, and a motion censor at night to help us track any activity in the parking lot and make sure our guests' property stays safe. Thank you again for you honest feedback. Best wishes, Vanessa, AGM

Comfy but the room felt small

Posted Jun 1, 2017 on Hotels
The room feel a little small, but was nice, clean and the bed was comfortable. It is conveniently located next to a travel stop with a restaurant. Check into the hotel first because you get a discount at the restaurant.

Dear Adrian, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review based on your experience at the Microtel Inn & Suites Albuquerque. I am glad to see you gave your stay with us a high star rating. Our suites are larger than our standard rooms for travelers who would prefer more elbow room. If you choose to stay with us again we would be more than happy to accommodate you in a larger room. I'm glad you were able to take advantage of the discount our guests receive at the restaurant across the street. I hope you choose to stay with us at the Microtel Inn & Suites Albuquerque if you ever travel through i40 again. Sincerely, Vanessa, AGM
