Close to Wexford and Rosslare

Posted Sep 12, 2016
Pros: Location. Pleasant members of staff. Good location for Rosslare.
Cons: Service at breakfast was initially slow.
Location: Wexford is, of course, of interest. We did not explore further.
The location was good for an early start from Rosslare. We very much liked the spacious and well appointed bedroom.

One night stop over, had dinner and breakfast

Posted Aug 10, 2016
The food was good, both dinner and breakfast. The hotel room was lovely, even if the shower was a bit pathetic!

Not too bad, but will look around next time...

Posted Aug 26, 2015
Room didn't have hot water and some lights didn't work so they moved us to a different room. This second room was nicer (had hot water but no water pressure the next morning) at least the bathroom wasn't moldy in here. The bed was not comfortable or just worn out. The area is very nice, definitely will make a trip down there again, but probably will look elsewhere to stay. Food in the restaurant was OK.

Transit stop between UK/Ireland ferry and Dublin

Posted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: Ease of access and quality of restaurant
Cons: Like most hotels in UK/Ireland, there is no cooling appliance in room for summer. Availability of a simple fan would be worthwhile
Location: It was close to the UK/Ireland ferry for our overnight stay
comfortable quiet room. Good restaurant. Good value for money given that we only wanted an overnight stop as ferry arrival made it a bit late to push on to Dublin

OK for the price

Posted Jan 27, 2015
The room was not very comfortable. The mattress was poor quality, the bedclothes were not warm or big enough and the room was on the cold side all of the time. The TV was tiny and had very few channels. The bathroom was cold and the shower was poor quality. The staff were fine and the breakfast wasn't bad for the price of the hotel.

Pleasing hotel

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Location: We had driven from Dublin through the Wicklow Mountains for a long weekend in Southern Ireland and Wexford was a great stop.
Convenient and easy to find. Rooms comfortable and nice restaurant.
