"We came for a three night visit in early spring, both to do some birding in the region and to observe the total eclipse of the sun. This location was perfect for both. In early April, the yard with its multiple feeders was well stocked with both late winter and early spring birds, and the chance to watch waterbirds pass on the lake was lovely too. Wheatley Provincial Park is right next door, and Point Pelee is just a short drive. The yard has a great firepit and very nice beach access, all of which we enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again."

"This cottage proved to be the ideal retreat for us, two hardworking small business owners in search of a sanctuary for rejuvenation. Regardless of the weather, this haven offered comfort and solace. With the wood stove ablaze, I managed to immerse myself in my book and indulge in delicious snacks prepared in the cottage's exquisite kitchen.The addition of a jetted tub was an enjoyable luxury, and I eagerly anticipate our return. I can only envision the cottage's allure in the summertime. At moments, with the massive waves crashing against the rocks, it almost felt as if we were seaside. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and maintained excellent communication."
