The place is pretty beat up---not at all what I would have expected from a Marriott property. Many people staying there looked what I would call "sketchy" and were sitting at the entrance with numerous cans of beer on the table late into the evenng. I would not stay there again.

Small Well Appointed Hotel near WheelingPosted Aug 19, 2015 on Hotels
Staff were friendly. Everyone had smiles and greetings for us. Breakfast was a B+. One day had scrambled eggs & Chipped Beef and biscuits. 2nd day had scrambled eggs and sausage. Waffles both days. They had sugar free syrup which is rare. Room was clean and neat. No signs of wear. TV was wall mounted so it could swivel for the bed or the sitting room. TV would take cables from our PC so we watched Netflix on it. On our 2nd night we found a defective lamp. That's the worst thing I can say about the hotel. Pool is on the small side but is indoor so it's available in all weather. Fitness room is also small, one of each type of equipment. Nice place and would stay there again.

NO JACUZZI - NO WORKING ELEVATORSPosted Aug 3, 2015
Cons: online photos need to be updated; statement that there are "no working elevators until further notice" should be added to website
I chose this hotel because in the online photos for the location it shows an indoor pool with jacuzzi. My husband has a bad back and we looked forward to relaxing in the jacuzzi after our outing, but we were sadly dissappointed. At check out, I told the the hotel front desk worker that the photos on the site are out of date and that if I knew this location did not have a jacuzzi I would have not stayed here. The only reply I received was, "Those old photos are still on the website?" There was no offer to give me a discount on my cost for the two night stay. Also, there are no working elevators at the hotel until further notice and we were on the second floor. We will not stay at this location again.
