Pool open until 11PM-- great for wound-up children after a long drive. Complimentary continental breakfast was good. Overall, a very nice and clean facility. WalMart and Bob Evans restaurant 1/4 mile away.

Very nice place

Stayed here for a concert at First Niagara Pavillion. Close to concert and very easy to find. Will definitely stay here next time.

Nice hotel with clean rooms and dining area

The hotel was overall very clean. I didn't get a chance to check out the pool or gym area, but the room and breakfast area were both very clean. Very satisfactory stay in all.

Weekend getaway

The hotel itself was fine & I understand the staff cannot control the actions of others. Marriott should really invest in quiet-closing doors. The children in the room next to ours was in & out constantly and we know this because the door closing sounds like a gun shot. Not very relaxing.

Close to where we needed to be...

Pros: Location wasn't far from where we needed to be
Cons: Staff at least the one we had NEEDS improvement!!! And breakfast needs improvement.
Location: It was conveniently located near a Walmart which was wonderful!
Nice location but staff as we checked in very disappointing! Called a head for our rooms to be next to each other and staff member put us at opposite ends of hotel and we told them we called that morning to make sure our room were close to each other and the lady said she would make sure they were . You would think we were putting this chic out of her way to accommodate us. She eventually did because I had the names of who I spoke to but I felt as if we put her out. Didn't even thank us for being patient or sorry for the miscommunication nothing... They had a bug problem which was notated on the elevator but no warning before check in. Fan in room didn't work and temp gauge in room didn't work. Breakfast wasn't refilled (sausage and eggs) and coffee and hot water for tea ran out long before breakfast was over and never did get refilled while we were there.. Very disappointing!!!

Everything was new

The hotel looked brand new and was very nice. The hotel check in person was not friendly but she was efficient. Our room was clean and up to date. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and nice. The cleaning staff was nice and talked with us in the hallway. The breakfast room was very nice and had lots of options but nothing seemed fresh. The oatmeal was watery and the brown sugar was a rock, the biscuits were hard. There were other things to eat and so it was okay but just something for them to work on. All in all I would definitely stay there again.

Fairfield's 100% Satisfaction Guarantee is BOGUS

Throughout most of the night, we heard a loud but diffuse noise sort of like an echo. It was an industrial type of noise. We could not figure out where it was coming from (almost like a heating / cooling type). Finally about 3:00 AM, we identified it as coming from the room refrigerator. The next morning we complained to the hotel staff and were told "you should have come to us immediately" (like what could be done at 3:00 am?) and because you booked this through a 3rd party we can't do anything for you. It was clear that the hotel staff was Teflon coated. They were not interested in making us happy.
