dirty room with standard size queen bed

Total disappointment. I opted for a queen room which was approximately $15 more per night that the standard bed room. The bed in our room was in fact a standard size bed. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk receptionist she wanted to argue with me about it. Then she tried to explain how it was an impossibility for a standard size bed to be placed in the room instead of the queen that I paid extra for. She then refused to credit me the price difference between the two room. I then brought it to her attention that I paid for one size bed and got a smaller one. She then said she would talk to housekeeping about it. I then brought to her attention that there was what appeared to be black mold growing on the grout in the shower. She refused to properly address this issue as well and handed me my receipt. She was rude and improperly trained to do her job. That statement is to include the cleaning staff and management as well. There should never be mold in hotel room shower. Also, there iz a bar/restaurant near the lobby. We stayed on a friday and saturday night. Friday night the bar had a live band. The bar patrons were smoking right next to the main entrance of the hotel. They were also drinking alcohol and conjigating in the lobby, hallway, and infront of the elevator for long periods of time. All of this within eye sight of the hotel staff. I felt unsafe. Never again will I stay here. It is not a clean nor friendly environment.

one night stay

Pros: proximity to my event, friendly staff, price, cleanliness
The only problem i had with this hotel is that the walls are incredibly thin. I could hear conversations, showers turning on, and at 5:30 am the woman next door sneezed and woke me up.

When we first walked in, there were bugs all over the wall behind the girls at the front desk. So we were hesitant. Once we got to the room, it was clean. Beds were very comfortable. Only downfall to the room....it smelled like cigarette smoke.

Nice staff. Clean. Safe for individuals staying alone. Free parking. Safe lot with spaces always open.
