A decent no frills place to stay.

We stayed here for one night for the Rainshadow Ultra Marathon in Deception Pass Park. The location was great, about 15 minutes from the park. The front desk person, I believe her name was Carol, could not have been nicer. We were given a room that was pretty darn cold when we first went in - the outside temperature was a little below freezing. We turned up the heat, but that poor old heater just wasn't capable of blowing out enough warm air to heat that room up. After about 20 minutes, when it was clear it wasn't going to ever get warm enough, we called down to the front desk and they were very helpful in getting us a new room. The new room was not toasty warm, but the heater did function enough to make it comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a bit of a cross between a continental and a hot breakfast. There was scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, packages of instant oatmeal but no hot water, bananas, and a few pastries. There may have been a waffle maker too. Overall, it was decent if you aren't looking for anything fancy. The rooms open up to the parking lot, there are no interior hallways.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay. We love to hear that you enjoyed Carol. She is a light. Although I'm sorry to here about the heater, I will make sure maintenance addresses that. We would love for you to come stay with us again soon.
