The hotel met all of our needs. Would have been nice to have a pub/restaurant in the hotel, but there were plenty close by. Dog friendly was perfect for us.,

It’s ok for the price. Location is great. Just a short walk to the gandola. But the room is noisy. I could hear footsteps upstairs and water dripping, shower sound. I could hear loud music at midnight.

Very noisy, no sound proof at all, you can hear everything from the hallway, footstep sound from second floor. Staff was watching foreign video right outside my door, and had to tell them to go away. Room was not clean, food crumbs in the room and closet. Dusty chair, remote. Not a pleasant stay. Other than the location, not sure why 4.1 stars rating.

This was a nice hotel for a good price. On the edge of the village so very walkable, and easy to get in the car and go too. Pool was nice and the outdoor heated pool was a fun touch. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Housekeeping attention to detail was poor and I had to take a Lysol wipe to the bathroom door and room surfaces as they had not been cleaned. Maybe they were understaffed as we were slow leaving our room for the day and they didn’t circle back to refresh our room at all over a three night stay… Overall the hotel was a good value and we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at the Aava for 2 nights. First - a few issues. Our room wasn’t cleaned/turned over or restocked w toilet paper/coffee/clean towels or beds made after 1st night, and even though we went to front desk to request that it be done, it still didn’t get done. Pool only opened at 10am. No restaurant option on site. No drinking water available - only a water drinkable fountain. It was also quite noisy (were staying on 1st floor and folks above our room clomped about and everything can be heard from above below). Room was also quite small. A few good things. The parking was ok. Location was good (a bit outside of the hubbub of the village). Room was clean when we first arrived. Double bed feature was nice. Noise from room next door minimal, which was good. Staff was very helpful when something happened to one of our hotel keys.

The availability for parking a slightly taller vehicle was incredibly inconvenient and confusing. Smaller vehicles that could park in the parkaid were allowed to stay parked out where over height vehicles needed to be situated.

My partner and I stayed 2 nights for a little staycation and had a lovely time. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna. We were very happy with the central location of the hotel. The staff were very friendly! We will be back!

Great location and not right in the heart of the village, making it a quiet area (I if you prefer to not hear the partying). Only complaint is the thin walls and door which is common for places in whistler village. Hot tub is really tiny. Overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

This place was truly a disappointment. It started in the Lobby, where the first impression was “cheap”. It was spare and poorly decorated. The room was the same. We had a first floor room with a tiny window looking at a wing of the building - no view whatsoever. The whole impression was “cheap motel”. But the worst part was the noise. Luckily the people above us went to bed early, but we could hear EVERY step they made. It was like living under a drum. We travel a lot and don’t shy away from paying for nice hotels. While the hotel was safe, clean and very conveniently located, the design and construction makes this one of the worst places we have ever stayed.

The Aava Hotel is right across the street from Whistler Village, with ample parking and clean, spacious rooms. Compared to the more expensive hotels in the area, this hotel had everything they had at a fraction of the cost. The only downside was the gym is very limited, but there is a great gym across the street that you can go to if you need more equipment. Would definitely stay here again!

Aava has friendly staff, nice large clean rooms with high ceilings. Bathroom has a bath and a shower and there is always loads of hot water. Rooms cleaned daily. Walking distance to skiers plaza for the lift and even closer to restaurants and bars. Be prepared for some noise. Doors closing and not great sound proofing. Ski storage and boot storage adequate. Lockers provided. This is the second time we have stayed here and would recommend.

Nice hotel with hot tub and good storage facilities for skis. Rooms were a good size. Convenient location, quiet whilst still be close enough to shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly.

I like the location. It's not too far walking to the gondola and it is not too close to the village centre so it is quieter. I also like the hotel provided us towel and robe for the pool and hot tub. There is a free locker for storing ski and poles that I found it very convenient.
