Very nice hotel within walking distance to the village with shops and restaurants. Pool was closed for cleaning when we arrived unfortunately.

Cons: Less furniture would be ideal.
Quaint hotel. Victorian style could be modernized. A bit too crowded in the room and around the hotel. Too much furniture. Conveniently located right on blackcomb mountain in the village. However, a long walk to Whistler village.

Excellent Hotel

Pros: Hotel is very lively and well maintained
Cons: not sure
Location: This Hotel is located near ski lifts and a lovely stroll over to the main village where you can ride the Gondola from peak to peak.
We arrived on July 7th 2017 and check in was quick our room was nice on the 8th floor with a nice view of the village and mountain side.

Wrong time to visit.

Pros: Hotel staff was excellent. Beautiful setting. Good shuttle service to golf club and village.
Cons: Notification at time of booking that they would be hosting the competition so that we could have stayed at the Four Seasons instead.
Location: Whistler is beautiful. Golf course was fabulous but extremely difficult - heard many comments agreeing with our experience. Lots of things going on.
Unfortunately we hit the hotel in the midst of a world dance or singing competition. Tons of families. Noisy and crowded. Also Canada Day weekend. Got a substandard room where the A/C was marginal. Room 685. Food - even in The Grill - was below standard for a hotel like the Chateau Whistler. The drive up from Vancouver was beauttiful - hard to concentrate on the road.

Luxurious hotel. Very helpful staff.

When bar fridge door wouldn't close it was replaced with a temporary one very quickly. Helpful as we had items needing refrigeration, and the fridge in situ had no room for anything if ours. It was jam packed with mini bar items. Having pre purchased hotel stay through travel website it was a bit of a downer to be required to pay a daily 'resort fee' on top. And parking at $35 a day. But location and facilities second to none.

Hotel was great - didnt like that all rooms were pet friendly . I am very allergic to pets and the room bothered me . I woke up every morning with a stuffy nose and a headache from the pet dander . They should keep pet friendly rooms separate . Don't get me wrong I love pets I just don't feel great when I'm around them .

Great stay

Cons: Booked through expedia and was charged by Expedia and Hotel so had to call back hotel and get reversed.
Location: Biking, Hiking, Restaurants
Great service and drinks. Breakfast buffet was outstanding.

Romantic getaway

The atmosphere in this hotel is magical. Staf was really helpful and friendly. So we've got a complimentary upgrade for Room with a View. Had really good experience thank you so much.
