Pros: the charm of an old ski lodge.
Location: great location for ski, hiking and going downtown to main street.
it was a fun overnight in the white mountains, touring backroads and inns.

Cozy hotel

Posted Nov 28, 2016
I love this bed and breakfast, it's probably my fourth or fifth time back. We always enjoy our stay here, breakfast is delicious and staff are always friendly. This is our go to spot whenever we are in North Conway. Cant say enough of good things, we always have a pleasant stay here.

Adequate but pricey for what you get

Posted Oct 20, 2016 on Hotels
This place has great potential but we were disappointed with our overall stay, especially for the price. The room was TINYfor two people and was in serious need of refurbishment and updating. The shower stall was ridiculously small and the matress hard and lumpy. It was clean but so old and dated, with a musty smell. The public areas were nice, the piano room with a log fire and the breakfast area. Breakfast was adequate. All in all, this place needs a revamp.

It is a ok hotel, small room and bathroom, stay in the third floor, no elevator, complimentary breakfast only lasts 1.5h (7:30-9:00AM). Will not recommend to go this place if you have big luggage and more freedom.

Thank you for your feedback. We are not a hotel ; we are a Bed & Breakfast, which means that this is our private home (we live on premises) and we welcome guests in our guestrooms year round. The room you stayed in is titled "standard queen room - third floor - no elevator" so we would expect our guests to be aware of the type of room that it is! Our cooked-to-order breakfast is served between 7:30 and 9 am each morning, as mentioned on our website, and we found that this is most convenient to most of our guests.

Quiet Bed and Breakfast off the beaten path.

Posted Sep 20, 2016 on Hotels
Off the beaten path. We were unable to walk to restaurants and shops. It was a quiet inn. Staff goes off duty at 8PM, so you are advised to contact them only if it is an emergency. Very peaceful. Terrific breakfast. Good value. Just stayed one night for $99.00. Mattress was very firm, but not rock hard. Pillows were flat.

Thank you for your feedback. As advertised, we are located in a quiet residential area, about 1.5 miles from downtown North Conway Village. We are a Bed & Breakfast and such as we live on premises, but retire for the night after 8 pm. In case of emergency, our guests can contact us any time. Beds are subjective: some like them soft and some like them firm. We try to cater for most people somewhere in the middle. As for the pillows, we will investigate as most of them are new from last spring, and we also provide extra pillows in all rooms.
