When we complained about the first room having vomit stains on the mattress cover she told us it was only on the cover. Got another room, after being in for a few turned the comforter back and it had blood stains on it to which we were told it was the red color of the comforter coming through after being washed. Color only came through in that smear huh?? Chairs haven’t been deep cleaned since the 70’s

Thank you for your feedback we appreciate your stay. This customer has issues with everything first room they did not like. Then we have second room they stated in that room for long time at 10 pm they ask for new blanket we provided that. When we went in room they said the comforter has blood but it was not blood. We check our room and clean sheets every day. When they choose second room we ask that room is ok for you they said yes. They even open sheets and checked everything before okayed that room don’t know what happen at night with it but they did stayed and used everything in room

Not sure if its tuff times for this property but the lady at desk accused me of smoking when i dont smoke saying i left the windows open and it was cold out, not sure whata going on but i been booking eith expedia and this is the first time ever i seen this

Thank you for your feedback. The windows was lefter open til we went to clean the room both side wide open that night it was negative temperature also we clearly smell smoke inside why some one will leave windows wide open all of them in negative temp

We went here on a whim just wanted to see the foliage in a lot of the hotels were already booked so this was kind of a last minute thing. Price was good, but not very clean and definitely needs to be updated

If you want a 1960 motel experience, come here! It was like walking back in time, waiting for someone to check us in, seeing the very dated decor and the stale smell of the room and bathroom!

Room was really old needs updating and smelled of mildew. Air conditioner didn’t work. One ice machine on the other side of the building. Had to go down some sketchy ass steps and around the office then up another set of steps to get to it. Bathroom was the only good thing about this place. It was surprisingly new and updated

The hotel was very clean and the desk clerk was very enjoyable to talk to. The only downside was that the deadbolt didn’t work. Easily fixable , I’m sure they fix it soon. Highly recommended!!!!

Nice place. I liked that it was quiet even though I was next to the road. I went in September so perhaps since it was off-season it was more quiet. I felt the room was cold and I couldn't get it warmer. Also, I assumed that the fridge was working like most hotels|motels. My food and drinks were warm. Turns out the fridge wasn't plugged in. Staff should inform guests during check in about that if they want to save on electricity like that. I also wished they had a computer to use. Other than that, it was good.

Room served or purposes…Two beds, price was right. Staff was only in the office upon arrival. Tried going to the office a couple of other times and no one was there. Refrigerator and an outlet in the room were not working. Outlets are limited for charging purposes. Bathrooms are newer and updated and were quite nice actually.

Our room itself was ok as far as cleanliness, but the area with the ice machine and microwave for guests was disgusting. More than a couple of days worth of dirt and dust. Microwave, stand and floor filthy. Hadn't been vacuumed in quite a while, probably weeks. Chairs were so bad with sticky food I would not sit down. Trash shoved inside detergent vending machine. Popcorn had exploding everywhere with butter like material all over the microwave and floor. Not a great way to give a new guest a great impression.

Ice Castles Visit
We chose this venue because it was affordable compared to other lodging in the area. The inn is dated but maintained, clean, and great if you need a base of operations but little more. It had the necessaries, a comfortable bed, a hot shower, and a clean interior. But don't expect much else. It is convenient to everything in the area. You could spend a whole lot more money and not get much more from other lodgings.

When we got there, they ran out of heating fuel so our room we requested (downstairs as we have kids) wasn't avail until later as they were getting oil delivered as i got there, so they moved us to another room which was upstairs and the room was clean the wallpaper and curtains were very old but the rest was updated and a good size room and the location and mountain view's were nice from the front window and porch That's all the good unfortunately. There were no towels (they did bring some without asking so that's a pass) , there was no hand soap avail, at all. They had one shampoo and a men's only pack of body wash, shampoo and deodorant. I travelled with my gf and kids and we forgot shampoo and didn't have soap and had to go get some as when asked they did not provide it... only had shampoo. They had a coffee machine but no cups, no sugar, nor cream .... one packet of reg coffee and one decaf. The bathroom door sticks and couldn't close or you would have been locked inside the damn bathroom. The walls are thin and you hear everything. The outside needs to be updated and the stairs we have to use were slippery and very small only enough for half of my foot and my daughter almost fell from slipping off the stair. The people at office were nice but i wouldn't stay here again ... the price was 100-125 more than all others compared in the area and i pre booked and couldn't cancel .. and wasn't happy the same place was 100.00 cheaper the same night day of as it wasn't even close

I never leave reviews but this place was bad enough I feel a social obligation to do so. The heater didn’t work and I froze to death all night. I called the front desk twice but it couldn’t be remedied. Mold, cobwebs, musty smell. I couldn’t stay there again. I would have asked for a refund but no one was at the checkout counter the next morning so I finally left.
