The building is old. We had a small room with a queen bed and it was enough for 2. The walls are very thin (we could hear conversations from next door). The shower was inconsistent with water pressure and hot/cold. The light in the parking lot shone into our room all night and the thin curtains did not do much to block it out. For the cost of the room, I couldve done better.

This is an old, but charming, hotel on the main street of an old NH town. It has not been upgraded to "modern" which makes it interesting and fun. As expected in a building built in 1843, the floors creak and are uneven, the ceilings are high, there is no elevator, etc. But there was a modern TV, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a wall heater/AC unit in our room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is well maintained and comfortable. The location is great and within walking distance of a nice craft brewery and pleasant river walk. The only downside is the online tv setup. Bring along a millennial if you are not an electronics expert. The online tv buffers frequently which explains the poor internet access

We were not able to travel to The Thayers Inn as Littleton was expecting 20 inches of snow. We tried to reach someone at the inn for a day and a half to switch our dates. No one ever answered the phone. By the time we got a hold of someone I was told that I had to go through Expedia to cancel or make changes. Are dnd if the day we did not go to the Thayers Inn, Litttleton got the snow they expected and I lost my money. Terrible customer service.

We have unfortunately had phone issues for some time now but are working to get that handled. We emailed you back when we could. I waited over an hour to check in. I missed snow tubing reservations that I wasn’t reimbursed for. I did get a night comped, but I don’t feel that was enough considering the expectations my family had for our stay. The breakfast was worse than gas station options. Parking was always full so I was left to look for an alternative, which was stressful. The room was not thoroughly cleaned. The location was convenient, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the stay. At least it had historical value.

This property is in an excellent location. Shopping and dining are all within walking distance from the hotel. The rooms however, are very dated and our shower dribbled water. There was absolutely no way to properly get clean, much less wash shampoo from your hair. If you are looking for a nice, comfortable hotel, this is probably not where you want to stay. If you are looking for a hotel where everything is within walking distance and no driving is required, I highly recommend.

Loved the charm of the inn. Staff was very pleasant. Could use a bathroom renovation. Unfortunately they no longer have a restaurant. The common room with the pub tables on the main floor would make a great little bar for guests.

Interesting and well cared-for historic building. There were some areas that could be improved, such as the bathroom (plastic tub slippery w/ no bathmat nor safety bar; water did not heat beyond lukewarm, etc). I currently have a mobility issue but found no assistance (our room was three flights up.). A chair in the bedroom would have been helpful as well.

We had an awful expereince and the hotel's reaction was underwhelming. Our bedding was used and dirty. After finding staff to complain to, I was only given excuses and a new set of sheets to make the bed myself. Reading my irriattaion, the staff memeber eventually helped me make the bed. I was told multiple times that there was a large turnover and house cleaning staff quit that day, but there is NO excuse for dirty sheets. Make me wait to check in until you can properly clean the rooms if you have to. I wrote to the hotel privatley before my review and finally recieved an apology... followed by more excuses. The location of the hotel is nice, but I cannot get over dirty rooms and excuses trying to justify it!

They offered us a different room because the one we had originally booked was extremely dirty. There was an excessive amount of dust on every surface, creating a thick white coating, the carpet hadn't been vacuumed (yes, the room an old carpeted floor), the bathroom sink was covered in scum, and the room itself was old and dingy. The room they offered us was supposed to be better, as it had been newly renovated with new floors, paint, and furniture. However, it seemed like the housekeeping staff didn't think dusting and wiping surfaces was a part of their job. There was still a lot of dust everywhere, and I had to wipe the surfaces myself with a washcloth in order for us to put anything on the furniture. I was so grossed out when I found a dirty towel hanging in the closet and a water bottle cap near the bathroom toilet that. It was so disgusting that I felt compelled to leave a review, even though I rarely do so especially negative one. I don't want anyone else to waste their hard-earned money on a filthy property like this.

Littleton was an amazing place to stay. There were a ton of great food places within walking distance. It was only 15 minutes from Cannon mountain making skiing easy. Not only that, but the rooms were spacious and cozy.

The room I stayed in only had a thin curtain and parking lot light was shining into the room all night. Also, walls are paper thin so I can hear the couple next room over yelling at each other all night. If you are looking for a place to rest at night, I would recommend going to a real hotel for this price.

Thayer's in is good for the price. The building and rooms are quirky, but it legitimately adds charm, and the price accurately reflects the quirks. One example is that the building is heated with old-school forced hot water using antique cast-iron radiators. Very cute & cool, but rooms don't have their own thermostat, and the temperature swings wildly from low 60's to 80's. I woke up sweating in the middle of the night, and had to leave a window open in 30º weather to cool the room off enough to get back to sleep. Then it ended up too cold. I would stay there again if I needed to go to that area, I'm more than happy to put up with the quirks and limited staff hours to get a room at half the cost of the chain hotels a couple miles away that are not walking distance from all the cool stuff in downtown Littleton.

Cant wait to stay here again!
Loved this cozy spot for the rich history behind it and its many surrounding restaurants. I enjoyed the creaky floors it sent me to another time 😁. I came during off season maybe it would be bothersome during a during season but i dont mind. comfy bed slept great!
