No heat, expired coffee

Posted Feb 28, 2017
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: A lot. See above.
Location: Plenty of things to do nearby, plenty of other hotels to use over this one too.
Room was cold on arrival. Turned up thermostat, nothing. Called front desk. Maintenance went downstairs and relit the burner. Later that night, no heat again. Front desk closed. No other number to call. Spent night without heat. Neighbors decided to have a party 1-3 am. Low class crowd here. Swearing, slamming doors, singing, bottles dropping on floor. Coffee in room was expired by several months. Everything was dingy. Room smelled bad. Staff was friendly but offered no reconciliation.

We wore footwear the entire time because the carpet and tub did not feel clean.

Better than sleeping in the car on a cold night

Posted Feb 6, 2017
Pros: The price was reasonable and relatively short drive to Lincoln attractions.
Location: Convenient to winter and summer White Mountain attractions.
If I were to describe this place in one word, it would be old. But not old in a quaint way, just old and worn out. Expect creaky floors, little noise insulation, small bathrooms. Woodwards has two separate locations so amenities like Sauna are only in one of the locations. If you need something from the main location, you'll most likely want to drive there. There is no staff at the second location. Be sure to check which location you'll be staying at. On the plus side, the room was clean and comfortable and fortunately fairly quiet from 11 pm on.

For the price, it could have been nicer. Restaurant was horrible.

Not as expected

Posted Jan 27, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: nothing
Cons: tear down and rebuild
Location: skiing, snow mobile, ice castles, etc
This place was suppose to be a 3 star, the reviews on the trip sites showed this. I can say this is a 1 star place very run down and disgusting bathrooms.

Great little resort in a perfect location. We were about two miles away from the ice castles. Breakfast was delicious and not expensive.

Sorry, but I won't be coming back here to stay.

Mold-covered bathroom ceiling, outdated decor, indoor pool was freezing cold. Not a great place to stay, sorry.
