Cons: It's a very tired looking hotel. It's truly not an original doubletree. Maybe Hilton should change the name.
Location: There is an amazing Bistro on Main St in Tarrytown. The food was excellent, and the staff was very nice.
We were heading to Vermont, and wanted to see the Rockefeller mansion. We had a hard time finding a room, but this hotel had available rooms. When we arrived there were four weddings taking place. I specifically asked to not be out near any wedding parties, but that didn't happen. From 11pm to 2 am there were drunk wedding participants going up and down the hall slamming doors and yelling. The next morning we asked to leave the hotel, and get another hotel down the road on our journey. I must admit that they were very accommodating got our new room at another doubletree, and contacted Expedia for a credit. The staff was very apologetic and helpful. However, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for just this reason.

Great location, great hotelPosted Sep 20, 2015
Pros: affordable, great location, clean, quiet
Cons: better coffee
Location: Right by Tappan Zee Bridge and train station. Great dinner across the street
Stayed at the Doubletree in Tarrytown to attend a conference in NYC. Price was great, location was excellent, room was clean and comfortable, and staff was friendly. Located right off the exit of the Tappen Zee Bridge, and a mile from the train station, this was the perfect hotel for my trip.

Location: Had high hopes for the Eldorado Diner across the street but was extremely disappointed in the flavorless fare.
Front desk staff are very nice and helpful. The bartender is a bit rude. The beds are super comfortable but the room fixtures and doors and walls could use some sprucing up.

Wonderful stayPosted Aug 17, 2015
When I got to the hotel, I was a frazzled mess and the receptionist handed me a cookie. The room was clean and comfortable, and there was actual water pressure in the shower. Great stay.

Great hotel, excellent locationPosted Aug 1, 2015
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The young man who checked us in gave us helpful information about Tarrytown and never made us feel like he was rushing us as we asked questions about Tarrytown. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is in a wonderful location, very close to the sites we wanted to see: Kykuit, Sunnyside, Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Union Church of Pocantico Hills, and Lyndhurst. The hotel is also close to a variety of restaurants.
