Nice, good breakfast BUT no Pool (construction)

Convenient location,for me

Pros: Location
Cons: It looks a little tired and worn. Hopefully that will be taken care of in the renovation.
Location: Near major highways and bus lines. Sort of in the middle of nowhere.
My reservation specified quiet room. There was construction happening every day after 10 am.

Unfortunately, sometimes with the renovations the noise can be heard in any room no matter the location. Welcoming and economical

My stay at the Hampton Inn in Elmsford was great! The room I stayed in was newly renovated. I was pleasantly surprised that they offered free hot beverages in the lobby that was available 24 hours guests along with cookies. The minor complaints that I had, was the bathroom was too small and it lacked a mini fridge and microwave as the other Hamptons I have stayed in.

All Hampton Inn brands will have 24 hours of coffee for their guests, as well as cookies. It's a great addition for our awesome guests! I do apologize that our bathrooms are a little small. All of the bathrooms are fairly the same size except for our handicap accessible rooms. Unfortunately, we do not have fridges and microwaves in each guest room, however if we have them available, guests are more than welcome to requests them and we can place it in the room free of charge. Hotel met 90% of my expectations

The hotel is clean and beautiful inside and outside. The breakfast is fantastic and delicious. The only little flaw I saw is the wireless internet, the signal of the internet keeps going back and forth, it's instability makes it unable to use.

Quality of Service was Not Good

We booked three rooms. There were two front desk 'agents' at the check-in counter when we arrived. I had all the rooms under my name and asked the agent who helped us if any others in my party had arrived yet. She said 'No'. After questioning her response, the other agent politely corrected her and said, "Yes" one of my party had already checked in. Then the agent gave us a queen size bed when we paid for a king size bed. We had come from a funeral and once we arrived at the room, did not want to ask to change. I wish the agent who knew what she was doing helped us in the beginning. Then we got a call in our room about an hour after we checked in and finally fell asleep after a difficult day to ask if, "everything was okay." We just wanted to try to fall back to sleep and said "Yes." Not really true. The WiFi was spotty.

Great Value

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. Lots of great restaurants in Tarrytown nearby. Breakfast was decent (consisted of eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, various breads, bagels, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, milk, teas, coffees). We stayed Easter weekend and they had Easter eggs laid out for the kids. In the evening, there were fresh baked cookies and coffee available for guests. We booked 2 rooms (they weren't adjoining rooms) and only 1 room had a fridge and microwave. The bathrooms are quite small, so difficult to maneuver small kids in the bathroom and shower.

Perfect location.

Pros: Good breakfast and the room was nice and clean.
Location: IT was only a 40 min train ride into the city!
Everyone was very friendly and helpful when asking for directions and such. Breakfast was great daily. The location was perfect for our trip and what we wanted to do here in NY.
