We stayed at this hotel before but was “ renovated “ a few years back. We had a nice comfortable room at the last stay prompting us to come again. We noticed the lobby was redone when entering and after discussing the differences with the front desk were excited to see the updates. Our disappointment started at the elevator when the luggage cart was very difficult to fit in the narrow space. No updates there. We arrived on our floor and noticed the hallway and doors looked the same - still not a big deal. The disappointment hit when entering our room that was supposed to be “completely renovated “ according to the front desk. Instead when walking into our room we get greeted with the disgusting odor of musty urine and clearly a room that was not renovated or even cleaned to any hotel standard. We made do with it due to the hard long day we had dealing with a death in the family and being at a wake all day. But I will rethink staying at this hotel again in the future.
