convenient but in need of some TLC

Posted Nov 17, 2015
in a convenient spot in Tarrytown but compared to the Marriott next door the bedroom décor was in need of upgrade and the bed was uncomfortable. Staff very helpful when my expedia last minute booking did not show on the system due to their system having issues.

Okay hotel in the middle of nowhere

The Club level had overcooked, greasy food at breakfast. The "starbucks" on the ground floor was no better: Breakfast sandwiches that were dangerously undercooked. Definitely below standard for this chain.

HVAC System

Posted Nov 16, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: The HVAC System
The air conditioning/heating system is way too loud. Each time when it came on, both of us wook up. Therefore will not stay there again.

The guy who works in the restaurant for dinner is great. Give him a raise.

Good hotel

Posted Oct 12, 2015
We checked in for a night because we had tickets to see the Great Jack o' Lantern Blaze. It was a good stay, beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly. The location is decent with it being about 10 minutes drive from places to eat in Sleepy Hollow. The hotel room seemed a little dated, but that did not bother my husband and me.

Excellent staff with a facility a bit too dated.

Posted Sep 15, 2015
Pros: Convenient location at a reasonable price.
Cons: Aside from a great shower, really needs to be updated in furnishings and fixtures. The air conditioning system was hard to regulate.
Location: We had dinner at Ruth's Chris nearby which was great.
Just needed for an overnight stay while visiting family in the area. Worked very well. Staff accommodated us with early check in and we had a nice breakfast at the hotel before departing in the morning. Was a pleasing and comfortable visit.

Solid hotel in the heart of Tarrytown.

Hotel was very good and conveniently located. The thermostat in my room was broken and it took the staff two trips and most of the night to fix it and have the room cool down. Probably an isolated incident. I would stay there again and have doe so.
