Good value

Posted Aug 2, 2015
Pros: The view of the lake, the location, and the included breakfast.
Cons: The desk chair needed to be replaced (sagging) and the decor and carpet could use some updating.
Location: We liked visiting the historical museum downtown, The Miracle of America Museum, swimming in the lake and my 10 yr old enjoyed the Happy Hippo ride.
Whenever I am in Polson, I always stay at this hotel. The location, view are wonderful and I can get breakfast at the hotel in the morning. I sleep well and the staff are friendly. The only thing lacking is that the rooms have not been updated in a long time and the desk chair in the room was a saggy. A great value overall! I'd rather have an inexpensive stay in a nice location than updated furniture.

Good location to either Whitefish or Kalispell

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: The price.
Cons: Should install safety deposit boxes in the rooms so you can leave valuables! As they say they are not responsible for any loss of items in the rooms
Location: Easy access to both Whitefish and Kalispell, also worth a visit to the lovely wee town of Bigfork.
Everything was ok, till checking out, The guy at the front desk was on the phone and made no contact with me at all, I stood for ten minutes, before I said I to want to check out. As he was having this long conversation with a future guest. Guess they need more front desk staff?

Not a bad place for the price

Little noisy by the highway you definitely can't sleep with the window open. Loved the pancake machine quick, easy, and very delicious. Could maybe have some fresh fruit at there breakfast to

Poor value, many deficiencies

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Our rooms were not sound-proofed for the adjacent roadways. We were awakened at 5:00 am to road noise. The plugs were not located convenient to the coffee maker. The shower was slippery, so be careful. No non-slip mat was provided. The two towels were thin and rough and falling apart. The breakfast was not nutritious and did not include fruit or protein. For the price, the accommodation and amenities should have been generous but not at this place. This is not America's best value.

Broom closet for a bathroom!

Posted Jul 18, 2015
The room was tiny and cramped feeling. The bathroom had less than 4ft floor area. The shower/tub combo was the smallest I have ever seen half enclosed by a water damaged wall. The controls were unique at best. It made you feel uncomfortable.

No elevator. Breakfast area small. Breakfast lady was great though.
