Nice hotel, clean & comfortable but overpriced

Posted Aug 25, 2015
We have stayed in numerous Best Western hotels over the years and have come to count on their consistent level of cleanliness, comfort and service. The Best Western in Whitefish provided all the above. However the price tag was comparable to what we have paid to stay at the resort on Whitefish lake, vs the highway with a view of the parking lot. There are a lot of motels in the same strip as the Best Westen with rates listed starting $100.00 less per night. I do not feel like we got good value and i would look for another Whitefish accommodation next time.

Nice hotel in Whitefish. Close to downtown. Coffee hut in parking lot right next door, and 24 hour grocery store acccross the street. Clean and comfortable.

WAS OVERCHARGED

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: NOTHING
Cons: CHARGE ONLY WAS WAS INDICATED BY EXPEDIA ....I have don't nothing wrong and was overcharged on crap that the hotel thinks their are right...
Location: golf
NEVER again will I book with Expedia....the rooms that are blocked off for Expedia are noisy and irritating. Could hear the walking, noise creaking of the other motel guests upstairs...we stayed 2 nights and want some of our money back!! PLUS we were charged for a pet and cleaning of the room and I was not even traveling with the pet!! My VISA Credit Card company has been notified and THAT money will be granted back to me....Expedia needs to talk to this hotel!!

Clean & comfy, with thoughtful service & amenities

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: Super clean, modern & upscale bathrooms, very quiet, extensive free breakfast
Cons: N/A
Location: Whitefish is close enough to Glacier National Park for daily trips to the park, but far enough away to be out of the touristy areas at the park gate.
Wonderful hotel! The free shuttle picked us up at the train depot as late as 11PM since our train was late. The free breakfast was extensive (omelets, Belgian waffles, etc.), the room was cleanest hotel room I have seen with very nice granite counter-tops and stone tile showers & bathroom floors. The bed was so comfy! Coffee was plentiful and tasty. I was surprised at the sanitizing wipe packet left on the phone. So considerate! Worth every cent! Stayed August 2015, traveled as a couple

It looked like they renovated the hotel, including the exterior, bedding and furniture. However they did not replace the carpet in the room, and it needs to be replaced.

Convenient hotel

Very convenient to most of sights. Only problem was forest fire that kept us from seeing the prettiest part of park. Disappointing.

Nice hotel in a nice town near Glacier

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: Quit location away from Park activities and traffic.
Location: Great downtown (Whitefish) with great places to eat.
I little extra driving-but well worth getting away from Glacier and cities near the park. Nice staff that gave us good information on where to eat and options for things to do.

Nice place to stay

Unfortunately, a little outside of walking distance to the shops and dining options of downtown, but a quick drive and easy parking gets you there all the same.
