Good, not great.

Posted Aug 31, 2015
Spent four nights here while day hiking Glacier National Park. Park entrance is about 35 minute drive distance. Hotel was clean and serviceable, but could use some attention. Hot tubs and pool are run down but serviceable. What I would expect at my cousin's house, not at a high end lodge. Sauna was horrible. Dirty, old, inside has graffiti carved into walls and ceiling. Internet was not available the whole time I was there. Had to ask for some sort of compensation and was grudgingly given $5.00 off price of my whole stay. Managers logic was "how can I compensate you for something we provide for free?" Restaurant is ok, waitstaff was professional, but menu is over priced. You will get better meals at better prices in town, a five minute drive away. On the plus side, room was large and serviced everyday. Bathroom looked like it had been recently redone, and shower was great. Beds are super comfortable. Hotel decor is rustic and well done for the lodge theme- lots of taxidermy, wood and stone. Overall a decent place, but a little disappointing for what I had expected at price point. With a little effort this place could be great.

Nice hotel

Posted Aug 28, 2015
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Room and facility maintenance, ensure good WiFi service.
Location: Enjoyed hiking and Glacier National Park
Enjoyed the lounge and restaurant, and slept well! Window in the room was broken and covered with cardboard, making room a bit dark which was unfortunate. Needed to replace bathroom light, WiFi not consistent, only 1 of outdoor hot tubs had jets.

Nice Lodge

It is a nice clean lodge with a good restaurant and bar, the staff is excellent and helpful. I would stay there again but I feel they are overpriced for what you get.

Did not like hotel, overpriced

Posted Aug 21, 2015
Pros: Nothing
We stayed in 3 different places in Whitefish and this was the worst. There was construction outside and we had to wait 15 minutes to get out and in of hotel. Upon check in found out Wi Fi was not working when I had planned to do some work. The pool was so bad we didn't even want to go in. Carpet in room had stains. We thought we were staying in a nice place and was willing to pay the price was a nice hotel. we were wrong. Not worth the price at all. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Also couldn't sleep. Someone above us was stomping and running at 11pm and again at 1am in morning. I was happy it was only for one night or I would have left.

Great experience!

Posted Aug 21, 2015
Pros: Very clean; friendly staff; good resturaunt
Cons: Internet speed was very slow
Location: Around 30 min drive to Glacier National Park; number of activities around Whitefish, including zip-lining, gondola ride to a hilltop, horseback riding
Excellent lodge. The room was very clean, upscale, and spacious for 2 adults and 2 children. Very good attached resturaunt. Environment friendly - encourage patrons by giving a $5 resturaunt voucher in lieu of skipping housekeeping for the day. They also have a coin operated laundry facility.

Nice but could use some upgrades. Found cobwebs on the bedside lamps and tub/shower did not drain well.

Pros: Location
Cons: More cleaning staff

Staff was quite nice. Room windows were dirty, carpet had spots and bathroom was tired.
