Comfortable accommodations in great location!

Pros: Most everything!
Cons: The shower head and water pressure.
Location: It's a short walk to the downtown area. Lots of great shops and restaurants.
We spent a week in East Glacier Village while exploring Glacier National Park, but wanted to be close to the airport on our last night to board a plane at 6:30 am. So, we decided to stay in Kalispell. A search on Expedia brought up several options, one of which was the Hilton Garden Inn. It offered a pool and a fitness center, and, since I'm a Hilton Honors member, I was sold. Upon entering the lobby, we were greeted by a friendly associate and the smell of freshly baked cookies. A good start! The lobby had a nice, "modern lodge" feel to it. Our room was spacious, comfortable and decor updated. We were on the second floor, so I was expecting to hear our neighbors above us, but that wasn't the case. My only complaints are: the bathroom shower...the water pressure was weak, while the spray options were either piercingly hard or a soft drizzle; and the fitness center...a couple of the cardio machines were not working properly. In any case, I'd stay here again if I'm ever back in Kalispell.

Pros: They did discount my room charge for the bad night.
Wall air conditioner unit was badly in need of routine service. Unit was low on freon causing a pulsing vibration that caused loose sheetmetal inside the unit to start slapping and clanging. This vibration also cause the face cover to vibration and make a pulsing clattering noise that came and went throught the night. The worst hotel wall airconditioner that I have ever heard. Additionally the evaproator coil was nearly plugged and badly in need of cleaning. Not a good night. The hotel needs to contract for routine service to stay ahead of these issues.

High School Divisional Playoffs

Pros: Close by.
Cons: Complete the renovation underway at the entrance.
Hilton Garden Inn is very close to the Athletic Fields where the Divisional High School AA Track & Field was held. Hotel was reasonably priced and very clean.
