overall, a fair choice

this hotel is old... needs some updating... the front desk guy went out of his way to tell us about the new plush top beds... we had two beds... one was nice.. the other, not so much... we had to request a new room due to an air conditioner that did not work... the front desk guy (who also served as the maintenance guy) walked into the room to check the AC and immediately said "oh, it's one of the old ones"... it was very cool outside so he thought we would be ok with letting just the fan run, drawing outside air in... or opening the window... with a first floor room, we were not ok with either of those suggestions... at first he said there were no available rooms but after a few minutes, he returned to our room with a key to a new room... the breakfast was ok... normal hotel choices...
