Quite ok place

Posted Aug 22, 2016
Pros: Location is convenient for Glacier for the price. Close to a 24-hour supermarket too. Free and ample parking. Staff was fairly friendly.
Cons: The door locks (front and back) were flimsy. I felt like we couldn't leave anything valuable behind in the room took it all in the car with us.
Location: Airport, supermarkets, and Glacier park west entrance all not far. Wonderful people in Kalispell! Friendly.
We took the family suite. It was large enough. Two bedrooms and 3 queens. It was all acceptable. There is nothing modern about the facility so don't expect luxury. The bathroom and the showers are separate. No bed bugs, so good. I'd say it's quite acceptable if your goal is to go hike and then come to a place to crash.

If you are desperate.

If I have the choice we would not stay here again. It works for your needs, but for the price you pay in the summer season, you are getting ripped off in my opinion. The beds were comfortable, but the room we had with a kitchen and a small table etc. I would expect that when you book the room they would tell you that their "kitchen" comes with basic supplies (pots/silverare/stuff to cook with) It DOES NOT. How are you supposed to cook anything without having something to cook it in! Hotel if is serious need of remodeling. It worked out fine, but on a scale of 1-10 I would only rate them a 5. Staff were great though, and they have a little play area for young kids there. I'm just upset I didn't go with something nicer for a few more bucks. Booked this months before we went. :(

We are sorry your stay did not meet your expectations. As for stocking our kitchens with cookware and dishes, unfortunately our county health department prohibits it. We too are disappointed by this law, wishing we could offer this service in suites for our guests. We are allowed only to have disposable plates, cups and utensils in suites. To accommodate guests and be county compliant, we do offer cookware at front desk upon request so we can track pulling that cookware back for washing in our licensed, county compliant kitchen wash area which is located in a different building.

Don't go here!!

Posted Aug 15, 2016
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
I placed my reservation in May. The pictures on line looked great. Getting there I'm wondering how they got nice pictures. It was a family suite. Nothing to cook with, nothing to eat on except 1 paper plate and plastic utensils and not many. Sponge in sink was about a month old. We did not touch it. Coffee with styrofoam cups. Second day no cups. Only changed out towels!! Never Again!

Quiet location.

Posted Aug 11, 2016
Pros: We enjoyed the large room.
Cons: There could be a larger breakfast area. The chairs were so close together and heavy so that it was hard to move them to walk through.
Location: The location was great as it was easy off and on the freeway.
We loved our quiet, comfortable room. We thought it might be noisy located next to a Medical center, but it was not. We would definitely stay there again.

Youth Hostel...

Posted Aug 11, 2016
Pros: Unfortunately the rate they charged was less then other places nearby. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra and stay at an actually furnished hotel
Cons: The sad thing is for the cost of our stay they could invest in a matching sofa and love seat, a new television for the living room, new bedding, etc.
Location: It is 17 miles from the park entrance.
We rented the three bedroom. We joked that it was a youth hostel! It appeared that they either collected the few pieces of furniture on garbage day or at yards sales. It looked like a college kid lived there. The bedrooms smelled like feet! Also we put out the tag to clean the rooms and they didn't come. They actually tried to tell us if you put the sign on the door they DON"T come!?! They girl at the front desk was rude and answered the phone twice, leaving us stand there. I don't know how this place is getting a 3.8! Just not a good place to stay for two fifty a night!

Cons: The facility could use upgraded beds
The hotel staff was excellent in moving my reservation due to Southwest Airlines computer problems and delayed flights. This is obviously an older facility but location and staff made it an excellent stop and rest place prior to entering the park.

Room was barely ok

Posted Aug 7, 2016
Room had a musky smell, old coffee grounds were left in coffee maker, found a hairpin on the carpet and shower was marginal at best. Will stay else elsewhere next time.
