Cons: Needs updating & to be cleaned
Room was not clean, staff was not very helpful. Overall the hotel needs a good cleaning. Location was good.

Generally, our rooms are clean and our front desk staff is always helpful if guest are not satisfied when they are staying with us. Whitehorse hotel

Overall good experience. Location for access to downtown was great. Parking was tight and limited. Getting to area for pets was difficult.

Dear guest, I am glad you had a nice experience while staying with us. We have front and back parking lot for parking guest vechile, since it is a summer season our parking lots are occupied and street parking is available after 5:30 pm till next morning 9:00am, and it is also safe to park at street. We love pets and I hope your pet loved our room!! I hope to see you next time at westmark hotel!!

Older hotel with plumbing issues

Frustrating having no hot water for a couple of days even after supposedly being fixed by maintenance. Rooms were spacious but dated.

Dear Guest, Sorry for the inconvenience cause to you during your stay!. Unfortunately we had hot water issue during midnight and Our maintenance team were on the issue solving it. They found out that there was problem with one of the water heater, which got solved after detail check in afternoon. We are updating our rooms with new beds and other amenities to reach guest satifaction. I apology for not providing up to mark service and i hope you give us a second chance when visiting Whitehorse..

Very nice, expensive, pet-friendly hotel.

Pros: Remodeled since our last trip to the Yukon. It had elevators. This was our first Expedia experience--and we won't go there again.
Cons: The ice machine was hard to find after wandering for blocks down random hallways. There isn't enough space here to list everything that could be impro
Location: Everything was closed. except McDonald's. Would have been a nice location had anything been open.Lots of closed restaurants within walking distance
We were travelling from Alaska to Texas with our daughter's cat. The Westmark was a very nice place. It was incredibly expensive, but we had a nice, functional stay overnight.

No air musty smelly throughout hotel. Had a dirty stand fan in room to use. Left window open for better air only to hear partiers all nite!

Pros: location and cleanliness
Cons: more staff on desk when tours arrive
Very good except when the bus load came in at desk so very crowded at that point.

Older but clean

An older building, but clean and had a nice restaurant/bar. Lots of cool shops/stores within walking distance.

Wallpaper peeling toilet almost off wall the heat didn't work so they brought a space heater which blew the fuse if we used hair dryer or TV. Furniture was in very rough shape and we had a view of the storage area staring into there rooms people all put the front smoking not at all like the photos

Reliable, consistent no-frills accommodation.

Pros: The staff.
Cons: Not the most soundproof of facilities.
Location: Lots of good restaurants within a reasonable walking radius. Lots of local entertainment productions most of the year.
I've used this hotel for business travel over the past ten years and haven't found a better place to stay in Whitehorse. It provides clean basic accommodation and the staff try hard. Don't be surprised if it's fully booked over the summer. That's when European tourists arrive by the 747 load for their midnight sun wilderness adventure.
