"This apartment is in a lovely location, blocks from the ocean. The bed was comfortable, and with time and effort it could be a good place to stay. Unfortunately the apartment wasn't at all ready to be rented out when I was there. The lock box to get in was stuck, and took effort, a broken fingernail, several phone calls with the property manager, and help from another lodger to open it and retrieve the key. "This is a great spot for visiting Newcastle and being close to the beach. A really nice apartment in an ok neighborhood. You are minutes from the beach, restaurants. Wish we had time to stay for another day."

"Nicely done out. A couple of issues in terms of equipment - only one mug so we had to go out and buy one the following day. Also no potato peeler, cafetière (coffee machine needed capsules which are more expensive to buy). The outdoor area could have been made more attractive. The alley at the back was full of rubbish.
