“Sehr guter Stopp etwas außerhalb von Margate. Anmeldung im Pub. Die Zimmer sind über dem Pub, aber ab 22 Uhr war alles ruhig. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit zwei Betten. Die Dusche war hervorragend, und die Handtücher waren auch klasse. Alles pieksauber. Der Pub macht mittwochs bis samstags Abendessen. Dienstag ist Bingoabend. Das (kostenlose) Internet war ultraschnell. Margate hat viel mehr zu bieten als ich erwartet hätte. Ich komme wieder. ”

“I have stayed in the garden suite of The Black Horse Inn for two weeks from the end of October to the first week of November. First impression of the bed and breakfast was a very warm and welcoming staff. The room itself was excellent and exceeded my expectations by miles, very clean room with just about every item for one's stay to be more than comfortable. Sadly I never had the chance of enoughing breakfast at the Black Horse Inn as I woke up relatively late, and do be warned that the service……

“We stayed here for just one night whilst we were visiting friends in Herne Bay and we will stay again! It was so convenient, there was parking around the back, and the hosts were lovely. We stayed in Room 3 which was massive! It had a little lounge area, a lovely bathroom and the bedroom area was big as well with plenty of room to get ready. There was also a fan in the room which was appreciated! Breakfast was lovely and the choice was really good. We can’t recommend this place enough. ”

“Lovely little pub and rooms, food is very good although it's at a price point where you'd expect that. Lots of German and Dutch tourists stopping and a few locals. Not much of a pub vibe as it's all given over to dining but the room were spacious and comfortable.”

“Stayed on a Friday night as we were at a family do. Perfect for us. Had the twin. Both beds comfortable - one softer than the other. Had everything we needed. There's limited on site parking but wasn't an issue for us as road restrictions finish early evening and there's no restrictions on the Sunday. The owner was attentive and helpful. Information sheet was perfect. The breakfast was excellent! ”

“Nothing is too difficult for a very hospitable host who personally welcomes you to her home. More than pleasant, it was a very comfortable stay, and i would definitely recommend to anyone. If i get back to Folkestone, i will almost certainly be looking to return to this wonderful little B&B.”
