Staff were great.... Food was average .... pizza menu and pizza was terrible and this is the only cheap relaxing option ... restaurant meals were very greasy and not up to standard. Not flexible enough with the coffee shop times and offering snacks outside meal times.

Dated resort

The main issue was the bedroom was very damp and musty. The food choices were limited and poor. The resort felt neglected and past its best.

Closer to being a Nightmare

Tired, dirty and run down place which is poorly designed. I paid for a balcony + wireless and got neither. Poor quality food also.

Not worth the cost

no flushing toilet, or clean water in room. Restaurant food terriably cooked and over priced. And nothing any resort staff could/would do about it.

A truly underwhelming experience. The price you pay is for the beautiful location, swimming pools and beaches only. The food, staff and service were all below average. The younger staff were unfriendly and do not make you feel welcome. Options for drinks/dinner are extremely limited and everything is closed by 10pm. Not a place if you want to hang out after dinner.

The location is fabulous and the staff are friendly. There was no air conditioning other than in your room. Only 1 bar was open, the food was terrible and extremely overpriced. Water is terribly expensive. The establishment is terribly dated and needs an overhaul.

Rated as 4.5 stars but I would consider dropping the hotel by at least half a star if not more due to the following , resort looks tired in need of renovation around pool areas and small shopping areas. Pavers around poolside need cleaning, orange at breakfast not juice but juice drink , bar staff rude and intimidating, Mermaids restaurant food poor quality expensive. Stinger suits some staff say complimentary but when booking there is a cost of $10 per suit. On a more positive note , reception staff lovely, activity staff great, good holiday atmosphere. Generally a good holiday but at 4.5 stars expected that bit extra .

Better than expected!

It is a magnificent holiday destination. Once you find your feet with how the restaurants, activities work....then everything falls into place. Worth going and spending 5-7 nights here to fully enjoy everything it offers. When it is renovated next year, it will come up a treat.

We had a good experience with the resort! I would recommend it to anyone. However there were a few points I need to bring up: the ocean view balcony room was on the ground floor - an upgrade was needed for an additional charge, there was a lack of eating facilities during the afternoon n- one of the two main restaurants should remain open, I should have been notified that the schoolies would be taking over during our stay!
