OK for short night, but too expensive for quality

We check ed in at 10pm after driving all day. The Expedia price was cheaper than price quoted at desk, but had to log into Expedia for that price AS I STOOD AT THE DESK. Scratchy sheets, thin towels, but not much road noise and good water pressure in shower. For $126 it was not a good deal.

Rooms looked nothing like pictures.

Dirty pillow cases and bed sheets. Jacuzzi tub wasn’t clean. Rooms weren’t comfortable to sleep in due to dirtiness but were non refundable and I will not recommend.

We stayed here the day before we got on a cruise. We wanted a cheap hotel to stay the night at and that’s what it is. Rooms are clean, breakfast is a hotel breakfast, and the neighborhood is not particularly dangerous. It is an older building, with newer applainces. Our tub faucet had a drip, but it was clean despite that. Like I said it was better than what I expected for cheap hotel, but still a cheap hotel.

We have been staying at this hotel for 28 years. We have family in the area and this hotel is a great place to stay.

Pros: Location
Convenient bedroom for one-night stay visiting friends in South Whittier. Check-in clerk mistakenly gave us key to already-occupied room.

Pros: Good continental breakfast. Was good polite staff. Bed was comfy. Tv was good.
Cons: More sound isolation
Location: good location for us. was a hit and run for us.
Was good experience for one night. Was a little noisy from the outside street.

I liked the fact that I could walk from the motel to dinner and get the best pedicure I ever had. The place was fine, but I had a room by the stairs & people were coming and going until well after midnight. There was no elevator, so lots of people traffic and on a major street.
