Location: Close to shopping and next door to Brookdale assisted living community.
Super clean room. Hot shower with good pressure and good drain. Excellent mirror and lighting. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice kitchen. Good comp breakfast. Plenty of parking. Lovely setting with walking path by lake.

Convenient but not ideal.

Posted Sep 24, 2016 on Hotels
When I booked the room the photos showed privacy between the sleeping and living area. I did not receive this type of room and when I asked about it was told all of those were sold out. That made me feel a little tricked. The room was not as clean as expected. Hard surfaces were dusty, there was hair on the bathroom floor, and I could see spots on the tile. I felt that this was an older and outdated room. The bedding was a bit odd. One of the "blankets" on the bed was actually a mattress cover. The wifi was far too slow to use for anything productive and the fee was annoying considering the room came with "free wifi" so I ended up using my hot spot. The pool area was convenient and very nice. Evening happy hour food and beverage was really great. Morning breakfast was satisfactory and coffee was very good but missed having hard boiled eggs. Not a big deal unless you are a low carb person. :)

It was a pleasant place to get rested for the night. Wish we had plans to stay longer.

Pros: I liked the room layout in the king suite. It was very comfortable and roomy.
Cons: They need to work on informing their customers with what the hotel has to offer. I had to ask the front desk attendant about what they offered.
My overall experience was pleasant and I thought the property was very nice for the price.
