A Secret Treasure

Everyone was most accommodating and friendly and the room was perfect for our needs. A little mini vacation and that the Inn helped make most enjoyable.

The room was quite large and the kitchen had a full compliment of appliances including a full refrigerator. But it was quite threadbare, including worn carpet and a sagging sofa. In the kitchen, no coffee filters and a too-small selection of pots and pans. No dish washing soap other than for the dishwasher. The garbage disposal was inoperative.

Not happy with our stay. For being an extended stay it was lacking simple amenities. There was no soap for either bathrooms or kitchen/dishwasher uses. ONE towel in the entire suite!! Filthy bathroom and shower! A full trash bag left from previous guests on the patio outside of our room. No hot water for even one shower let alone two!!! And no one at the service desk to help!!

The rooms need to be updated. The room seemed clean but just didn’t look like it! Our queen bed seemed like a double. The included breakfast was nice, but front desk staff didn’t even acknowledge us by a “good morning“ or a “hi” when we walked in! Even with the good price, would probably not stay there again!

Weird hotel. My room was dirty and smelled, the beds were basically broken, and I was told I had already been checked in when I arrived. The door didn't have a bar latch. I left about 15 minutes after I arrived. The front desk person was very kind and offered me a refund.

Once a beautiful inn, has been poorly maintained.
We were here for an extended stay in 2008, and loved the Inn! Came back for the weekend; found things in a sad state of disrepair. In our first room the toilet was well bolted down on one side and the faucet in the shower was partially detached from the wall. The following morning we requested a different room. We also mentioned balance issues stepping over the side of the tub to shower. The desk clerk said he would have maintenance bring and install some grab bars. We moved and then were out most of the day. When we returned they were not installed. We had to walk around to the office to reach the night clerk. He was outside smoking, the phone was off the hook. He said it was late and no maintenance staff were on duty. We said we could install the suction bars if we had them. He found them for us. Shortly after that a maintenance man showed up; said he had been busy all day. The sofa in the living room was so worn down it was unbearable to sit on. The exterior of the grounds has a lot of wood rot & broken up sidewalks. It was disappointing, to say the least!

This property is very much in need of updating. I had to have my husband lift the knob to turn the shower on and i am not a weak wimpy person. The ac was questionable...woke up scorching in the night even tho it was turned on as low as it would go. The amenitiea, meaning the golf course was outstanding and the staff were wonderful. The area is great also. I dont think these facilities have been updated since they were built. Very dated and starting to get rundown. We will probably pass on this place and stay and golf somewhere else next time.

Too bad it was a bit less than expected
There is need of a redo. The bathtub is from the 80s. I was disappointed with the breakfast. The online photo showed a bid spread but it was probably done for a wedding. The entire facility is a bit worn out. The steps and handrail to the second floor rooms was about to collapse

A bad experience
The room was okay but not great. The carpet was ripped in a few places and the bed made a major thumping sound when you rolled over (something is broken in the box spring). At breakfast, the person waiting on us was rude and started closing things down way before 9 am, the time the hotel said the continental breakfast would be open until (I guess false advertising). She acted put out when we asked for some milk and a spoon. Very poor service. The front desk staff was helpful and attentive but I complained to a desk worker about the poor food service and I didn't get a sense that the breakfast situation would be satisfactorially handled. My family has stayed here before, at times up to a week, but this may be the last time.

Fantastic!
It was amazing! I didn't expect the hospitality hour, but the stuffed shells were delicious! This was in addition to a breakfast that included omelets and bacon in addition to pancakes, cereal, yogurt, etc. Wonderful! The room was incredibly spacious, with a full living area with lots of comfortable seating, and also a kitchenette with microwave and nice mini fridge but also dishes and flatware! The bed was comfortable, with wonderful pillows. It was quiet, had good wifi, had a beautiful pool, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it was a short walk from lots of shopping and dining. I am certain to stay there again!

Hotel was in quiet area and personnel very helpful at the desk. Room was very satisfactory with all the amenities and the pool area very nice. Centrally located to the main thoroughfares for ease in finding most anything.
