It was a great hotel in the 1980's but not nowPosted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: Location is good, it is walking distance from the park and Kurhaus - if you are going out for a concert etc.
Cons: The pillows are very floppy - we had to ask for more of these and even two pillows. The hotel need to either replace or deep clean all carpets
Location: Good to visit the park, the Kurhaus and generally walk into Wiesbaden, take the water powered train to go to the top of Wiesbaden and walk to Church
It is well positioned, has four free car parking spaces and several paid. The hotel furniture is what you would have expected to see 30 years ago - radio build into the bedhead with mirrors integrated in the bedhead. I don't mind the design but it has to be all kept lean and maintained. Our room had grey carpet which was full of marks and there was a dead wasp on the window which remained there for the full duration of our four day stay!

Hotel is your poisonPosted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: The location is great in a high end part of town. The room rate is excellent for the part of town.
Cons: The jerk behind the desk.
Location: City tours at the tourist office twenty minutes away. A great part across the street. High end shops and restaurants ten minutes away
The problem is with this place that they are shake down artist. They were unhappy we didn't go for their overpriced breakfast (24 euros for the two of us) and the Wi-fi access was going to cost us around 13 euros. This is way overpriced compared to most hotels. We parked the car and asked the desk clerk if where we were parked was OK. She said we were fine. The next morning we were told be owed them 9 euros for parking even though parking was supposed to be free. The desk clerk stated that the sighed over the parking space stated that it was 9 euros and he knew I could read German. I stated that "Hotel Parking" is in very large letters and the price was in very small letters which I can't read without my glasses that I don't drive with. When I told him that the hotel was advertised as free parking on the Expedia website, he said he didn't care and that he didn't want to talk about it. I'm sorry this guy missed his true calling as a prison guard or a beer hall bouncer, but he sure shouldn't be behind a desk at a hotel. We paid the 9 euros after a rather insane discussion with this pushy fool.
