Ok Hotel, Needs A Face Lift

Pros: Location to the wedding venue I was attending and all the amenities of the hotel.
Cons: a face list of the rooms would be nice.
Location: I attended a wedding, so this hotel was a great location to the venues I needed to get to. I know there is a casino nearby, but didn't visit.
The temperature was in the 30s during my stay at The Woodlands and when I walked into the room, the heat was completely off and it was freezing in my room. The furniture is on the older side and you can tell it's been around the block a few times. On the flip side, the views from the restaurant area are very nice and this hotel has a ton of amenities to keep you busy.

Nice getaway!

Whether you need shopping or want to go grab food, it’s only a car ride away. Food at the hotel is very good!

Didn't meet our expectations.

Beds were comfortable. HVAC unit was loud and woke us up several times when heating room. Could hear other guests talking and children running in hallways. Room was near pool and chlorine smell was in hallway. Room lacked decorator window treatments or any framed artwork. Did not sleep well here. Will not stay here again.

Stunning location

Pros: Great sushi restaurant in the hotel.
Cons: It took at least 10 minutes for hot water to appear in the shower
Hotel is adjacent to a stream and forest area, permitting great hiking and exercise. Very peaceful surroundings. Room was small but cozy.

The hotel and staff were exceptionall. The bed was unbelievably comfortable.

Nice hotel but .....

I was a little disappointed with the place no handicap accessible. It was all steps everywhere my husband uses a walker and sometimes a chair had a difficult time getting to breakfast. The bathroom was slippery we had to go to Walmart and buy mats, there was no barsinvthe bathroom to hold onto. The place other wise was ok the staff was friendly and helpful but not the place for people with disabilities.

Great stopover for trip to upstate NY with dog.

Pros: The staff, the pet amenities, great room, bar and restaurant good.
Cons: Steps. Multi-level hallways not great.
Really liked the hotel. Nicely appointed, great staff, choices for eating. And a walking area for the dog! Down side is the multi-level hall ways; difficult when you have some disabilities. Location is a minor issue as the hotel is not on the major highway. But overall a really grand experience and we will stay again. Highly recommended.

Wonderful staff!

The staff here is wonderful! So friendly and accommodating! However, the hotel could use an update, it's rather dark and there is not enough area around the outdoor pool to accommodate their guest load.

Good Hotel

Nice hotel. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Good bars and bands as well. Local shuttle to casino is useful.
