Great location for Grand Canyon visit, 50 min away

Posted Oct 2, 2017
Pros: clean, well priced, location
Cons: coffee could be served earlier
Location: Williams is a tiny town with all you need within several blocks. You can walk to food, drinks, shopping.
Always a comfortable stay and owner/mngt. very helpful. Perfect location for the yearly Rim to Rim to Rim hike at the Grand Canyon. Fun local cowboy bar across the street.... . Meet the mayor.

Moderate price for moderate comfort.

Pros: Easy access from main highway and easy access to Grand Canyon. Nice continental breakfast selection in a room separate from the lobby.
Cons: Rooms are clean but a little shabby. Time for a renovation.
Location: There was music, entertainment, restaurants, shopping and a horse-drawn buggy ride nearby.
Check-in was easy, and parking was available almost in front of the room. Although clean and comfortable, the rooms are in need of renovation. The gas furnace heater was in the wall and not part of the AC unit. No microwave, but nice fridge and coffee pot. There was plenty of hot water for the shower. The location is right in the heart of the downtown tourist area, so food, entertainment and shopping are all within short walking distance. Easy access to the Grand Canyon.

Room was extremely small. Carpet was filthy. Hardly any room to walk around bed. Daylight could be seen all around door.

The place needs updating. It was old and had an odd smell that wouldn't go away. Would not stay again.

Rout 66 experience

Posted Aug 22, 2017
The location is right in the centre of Williams. Easy access for restaurants, gifts shops and Route 66 attractions. The only issue is that there is no AC. We had to open our windows and a skunk visit the area during the night. What a smell. Anyway, being on the mystic Route 66 was something to remember.
