Dirty hotel

Posted Aug 9, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Clean the common place. Get new house keeper
Location: That was okay
The tub had left over soap on the self. Dirt in the tub. A big black streak on the side. I personally stepped on two rasins. Window sill had bugs all over. Water empty beside my bed. Big holes in the blankets.

You get what you pay for

Pros: Quick drive to Colonial Williamsburg. Staff was nice.
Cons: Fix the blinds in the bathroom. Recaulk the bathtub/shower. Replace rusty fixtures and shelves. Replace torn bed linens.
Location: Took maybe 5 minutes to get to Colonial Williamsburg. Plenty of food options.
The motel seemed to accommodate extended stay persons, so for our visit my husband and I were put in a building on the far end of the property that backed into a bunch of trees. Room was very outdated. The small bathroom was in shambles - broken blind, dirty and cracked tile and grout/caulk, rusted fixtures. The bed was comfortable enough. There is a shared patio on the back of the building that was full of spider webs and people had left cups and cigarettes everywhere. And even though the room was cleaned (I hope), it had a dirty feeling to it.

Nice and close to the historic area.

Posted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: Clean, inexpensive close to attractions.
Location: This Historic area is an easy walk and to the visitor center and grounds, restaurants located nearby.
About 8-10 minutes away from the Historic area by foot 3-4 by bike. Room was clean very conveniently located where everything is. Good value

Budget Inn

Faucet in the bathroom sink could only be turned to hot water and leaked EVERYWHERE. The pipes in the wall btn the bathroom and the bed alternately made noise or smelled. They had to transfer a refrigerator and microwave from another room into our room.
