Always love the Hampton InnPosted Mar 19, 2018
Pros: Room size, cleanliness, location, friendly staff
Location: Colonial Williamsburg, Blue Talon Restaurant, Sal's Italian Restaurant
This was my first trip to the area. Did the historical tours of Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, and the American Revolution Museum. This hotel was in a great location to Colonial Williamsburg with great food nearby. We ate a Sal's right down the street the first night and the food did not disappoint. We walked there from the hotel. The room was spacious and check-in took us no time at all. There was an indoor pool and hot tub which we did not use but we did use the gym. It was small, not the best or worst hotel gym I've ever seen but being two weightlifters we had to be a little creative. The breakfast both morning was great. It was well stocked and had great variety (please remember it was a free, hotel breakfast so this great is not in comparison to an IHOP but to other hotel breakfasts). Check out was a breeze, beds were comfy and staff was friendly and helpful whenever needed. Keep it up Hampton!

Close proximityPosted Feb 20, 2018
Convenient location to Colonial Williamsburg, outlet shopping and restaurants. We always prefer to stay at Hampton Inn and Suites whenever we travel. We stayed for 3 nights and got the rooms on great sale. Loved and enjoyed the amenities such as the pool with jacuzzi and variety of food selections at breakfast. The room we received has high ceiling but the only complaint is it's not sound proof enough as we can hear toddlers running upstairs, good thing it was only one episode.

Michelle at the front desk was super friendly and very pleasant. Our stay was amazing. Rooms were spacious and clean. Pool was relaxing and enjoyable for our kids after a long day at the park. We enjoyed take out dinner in the lobby area with friends who traveled with us for the weekend as the kids enjoyed the pool area. Breakfast was light with many quick choices. It would've been nice to have more hot choices available. But the go to waffles were delicious and having whipped cream for a topping was super yummy!

Rooms need maintenancePosted Dec 13, 2017
Staff were excellent. Breakfast was very good, above most of the chain hotels. However, room was frayed with torn curtains, carpet, and bedspread.

Great hotel.Posted Dec 5, 2017
Great hotel. Easy access to downtown Williamsburg and surrounding areas. Hotel staff was great hotel was clean. Only complaint would be that they didn't have information to local happenings. Not their fault because we couldn't get good information anywhere in the area would stay here again!

Wonderful hotel with a great staff.Posted Dec 4, 2017
Great stay. However, I am disappointed with the service or lack thereof from Expedia; I should have received a military discount for the purchase but that was not the case and after numerous attempts still did not get the discount.

Hotel in WilliamsburgPosted Dec 4, 2017
Perfect hotel, neat and clean. My only complaint was how hard the bed was. I was hurting in the morning. My husband was fine. Everything was great!!!

Almost 5 Stars... Great for young families!Posted Nov 7, 2017 on Hotels
We had a great stay in Williamsburg. We had 3 rooms altogether - 2 suites and 1 standard. All were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was good with a variety that pleased everyone. The staff was kind, but some of the front desk employees were not overly helpful. We had to call for extra pillows several times before they actually arrived. And as we struggled with getting in the door with three young children and two luggage racks, the employee suggested that I wait for my husband. This was my plan anyways, but I was struggling to get the racks over the giant tracks to the sliding doors. Not a big deal, just not very helpful. The biggest complaint was the indoor pool/whirlpool. The first day the hot tub was WAY too hot and the pool was quite chilly. The air was thick, hot and humid. Someone must have complained because the next day, the Whirlpool was like cool bathwater and the air was less steamy and the pool was a little warmer, but still cold. None of it kept us from having a good time! We would stay here again!
