It's an excellent spot to stay for golf or vacation. We had a one-bedroom room with a kitchen, living room, and washer & dryer in the unit. I highly recommend it and will come back.

My family have stayed at this property before so we knew what to expect. We were even more impressed! We stayed in one of the newer buildings. The unit (2bd w/ 1 queen and 1 full sz beds) was larger than our previous room. Convenient amenities for family fun. Excellent location, no more than 5-10 mins for all "necessities" (i.e. Walmart, Outlets, eateries, amusement parks etc :)! We had a great time!

Great space
Very clean, two bedrooms. Gas fireplace, fancy tub. Great amenities. Very close to alewerks if you're interested. You do have to take our your trash and I'm not sure they would have told me that if I didn't ask based on prior experience.

So clean and new and comfortable. I’d consider a longer stay here for recreation. I loved the room, in room jaccuzzi, big kitchen. One suggestion. Change your coffee supplier.. coffee was not good and why are you using sweet and low as a sugar substitute. Try Splenda or stevia please.

Substandard room
We’ve stayed here many times. This time our room was an older, dated unit. It had a strange smell. The hot water wasn’t working. It wasn’t even warm, it was cold. I advised front desk person, she said it was because of the system trying to keep up with the temperatures outside. It was in the 40-50s not even freezing. Husband and I both woke up with sore backs, the bed wasn’t comfortable. I wouldn’t stay here again unless I was sure we were in a newer unit. Not a resort experience this time.

This was a beautiful suite with many amenities. We only stayed for a weekend and didn't spend much time there. If we come back to Williamsburg in the future we will consider staying here again. The only downside was that the shower and jetted tub were outdated. The shower needs to be replaced and the tub has areas on the bottom that are slippery and dangerous for us elderly folk. That's the only reason for the 4 starts. Otherwise, a lovely place to stay.

Overall a nice facility. Expect outdated appliances, bed, amenities. The bed was especially rock hard, probably the worst sleeping we’ve ever had. The location of the resort is nice, the facilities/grounds. There is a charge for the bowling, miniature golfing and arcade. We stayed in the villa, I hope the deluxe rooms are a lot nicer.

Wow, this was an amazing hotel experience! We had 2 full bedrooms and two full bedrooms and a full kitchen and family room and washer and dryer.

Great Stay
It’s a great resort plenty to do while staying,?kid friendly 3 pools cafe on sight . My only complaint is I hate jacuzzi tubs , hard to get into and not friendly for seniors

Nice place, but given sales pitch at check in
The accommodations were perfect. Spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The start of our stay is what was disappointing. When checking in, I was led into a private office where an employee proceeded to try to sell me on their timeshare program. I politely explained that I was only there one night for my husband’s birthday and our time there was short, but she kept talking and talking trying to sell me. Then said since we’re we’re “outsiders” we might not be able to stay in the future based on availability since they give first preference to their owners. If you’re going to open the resort up to people, don’t make them do your sales pitch.

Clean and comfortable stay but a few misses
Overall great stay but there were a few things that can use some improvements. 1. Activities like bowling and mini golf is NOT free. There’s a separate fee. I thought this was misleading in the property description. 2. The bowling and mini golf closed at 7pm on a Saturday night. This was disappointing as other resorts stay open until at least 8pm. 3. No towels at the pool! 4. The grocery store within the resort also closed at 7pm on Sat evening. I wish they stayed open later.

I really love staying at this property but there was a situation where they double charged me for my stay that max out my credit card that was for the rest of my expenses for my vacation. I didn’t get my money back in time so I wasn’t able to enjoy anything I wanted to enjoy while I was there and I really didn’t, like how management handled the situation

The property was nice and quiet. And the pools were great! Kitchen equipment was very sparse with a bunch of cabinets with no doors; looked very vacant and unfinished. Stools at tge counters were very uncomfortable and a bit wobbly. Mattress could also use an update. Great to have a washer/dryer I. The unit. Will definitely be back at some point.

Perfect family base!
Beautiful property tucked away close to all the Williamsburg attractions! The property was clean and updated, both inside and out. We were worried that since we didn’t book a “signature” room, we’d get stuck with a run down, out of date room. But they have kept all rooms up to date! Lovely furnishings, new floor coverings, everything clean. Beds were comfortable. Pools were a bit chilly and there’s no hot tub so that was our one complaint. We did mini golf and bowling, such a fun perk! Staff was all friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

My family stayed in the signature room during our stay and it was very nice. Beautifully furnished, very comfortable for a family staying with children. I wish there were more amenities for kidson the grounds but it was just enough to give them options.

Do not pay for the Signature rooms! The hot water wasnt working. The engineers informed us that we must turn on every faucet and let it run for 15 minutes to get the hot water from the boilers in the basement at the opposite side of the building. This is a known issue and no one informed us during check-in. You need to know 15 minutes prior to washing your hands, or taking a shower. This is absurd for a $300 nightly rate. We will not be returning to this property.

The room looked clean but smelled like cigarettes. We could hear the people above us walking around while we were sleeping and also outside our back windows. They were playing music and talking loudly at 12 am. The beds were somewhat comfortable but the cost for a 1 night stay was a bit much for the room comfort.

Great place for family
We had a great time at the Holiday Inn. Rooms were clean and spacious. Property is well kept. The only thing I was disappointed with was the Cafe: small and limited menu. But my son loved the bowling area. We ate there once and chose to explore the other restaurants in the area.

For a weekend, this place was perfect. It offered peace and serenity. My room was perfect on the first floor. The amenities were lovely. We had hope the outdoor pools would have been open to enjoy however, we did take advantage using the indoor activities. Thank you very much.

We didn't utilize the property much because of the weather. However, I would say that the property was beautiful, well manicured and very clean. The room was immaculate, great decor, location close to everything (great restaurants, amusement parks, outlet, etc). Room had everything we could need with exception of one thing . . . streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc). If the hotel upgraded it services to include that, it would be 5 stars all around. Also, consider extending check-out to 11 or alert guests ahead of time if they think they might need this accommodation to request at time of booking or check-in. With so much to do in, I can imagine the final day being exhausting and an extra hour would help greatly!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Love the property!! Would recommend updating the arcade area. There are no arcade games or machines at all.
