The room had not been vacuumed. Furniture had white dried substances on it. Bathroom door had dried soda dripping down it. Two roaches in the tub in the bathroom. Dead bugs on the vanity. Grease smeared on the light switch in the bathroom. Bathroom fan broken. Make-up finger and hand prints in the shower and on the door frame. Colored pencils in the heating unit vents. Bath towels were brand new and not washed.

Front staff was very friendly and helpful, but the hotel room and interior of the building had broken down items and was very dirty. Roof was leaking and pool has no water.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and accommodating. However, the room was not thoroughly clean. It needed a thorough cleaning and I did find a bug in the bathroom. I don't know what kind of bug it was but I did'nt like finding it in my room.

Enjoyed two nights here my first time in Williamsburg VA. It is in a convenient location. Overall it was clean and the staff was friendly. Would stay again.

I chose this hotel for my family right away ac was broke so had pack back up get moved then during night fridge broke and we had cockroaches in our room right away packed and was gone !!!

This is the grossest place we have ever stayed. The wall next to the bed had drips going down it of what I’m unfortunately guessing to be bodily fluids. Headboards had drips too. Carpet was full of hair. The kitchen was disgusting with drips and splatters everywhere. Drawers were full of dirt and old food. Burners on stovetop did not work. Bathroom shower curtain smelled heavily of mold and mildew and was stained. Hair was everywhere. We’ve stayed in a lot of mediocre places but this was borderline unsafe.

What I love most about this property is the kitchen with a full refrigerator and freezer. The price is excellent and the bed is comfortable. We always rest easy at this hotel.

I like the full kitchen with a freezer for our icy items (like ice packs) sometimes needed when there for a bowling tournament. I dislike that breakfast service was discontinued. It’s a huge disappointment.

Check in was great. Left about an hour after check in to go eat only to find someone urinating in the parking lot. the next morning went to shower and notice the shower rod was messed up and the shower curtain would not stay closed. Asked for maintenance to come and fix while we were out. Maintenance did come to the room and left the shower a mess without fixing. Also, there was dirty wash clothes left in room from prior guests. The breakfast that was advertised turned out to be nothing more than a basket on the front desk with just a few items to grab and go. Not overly thrilled with this hotel and will not be using it again when visiting the area.

My wife and I had one night at this hotel(three star). We brought a handicap daughter on a handicap stroller. But, in order to go my room, there are four section of the hallways with three steps. There are ramps but it was very narrow so it was hard to pull the handicap stroller there. At the hallways, the smell of stale oil that can be smelled in an old factory made me sick.

We checked in a bit late- only to find that the bathroom sink was clogged, something (maybe a milkshake) had been spilled all over the side of the nightsand, the walls looked like they hadnt been cleaned in a long time (dried liquids running down them)... when I went down to the front desk to discuss this, the woman was no longer at the counter, I waited for about 5 min before giving up (again it was late). The beds & bedding were clean & comfortable, but I would not recommend staying here. The pictures are not an accurate representation of the property, they must be from many years ago.

The booking said free breakfast included, which was a lie. What they gave us was coffee and a choice of a pre-packaged danish or a granola bar. They called it "breakfast to go". LOL. Overall the place is a little old and tired. Renovations maybe a work in progress (new looking carpet in the room, but plenty of dings in the walls). Tiny 19" TV. I DO NOT recommend anyone booking this place. Hotel.com rating is 6.8 out of 10, definitely too high.

This hotel is VERY old and in desperate need of upgrades and new items. The curtains, for example, were rotting. The fridge is failing, the kitchen had VERY few utensils and pots...nothing anywhere near sufficient to make anything other than basics. The bed was broken, as was the toilet seat. The bathroom is extremely old. The carpet has to be from the 90s at best. The room had dirty floors and leftover soap in the shower. Many items were deteriorated. It obvious someone had kept a pet in this room as there were claw marks on many items. And the room did not resemble the pictures on the website from the standpoint of newness and furnishings. The staff on the other hand was wonderful...they did the best they could.

Far less than expectation and price
This hotel is under renovation as of Sept 2022 with so many things out of order, there is no breakfast as promised in the listing (coffee & Danish is all you get daily), the room ceiling are falling apart and linens on one of the twin size that was sold as queen bed was stained. The hotel has potential if they can closed down and renovate the building but i wouldn't be back or recommend it.

First of all, we get there late and they put us in the wrong room that doesn't have the right beds and doesn't even have a working toilet. Very run down and dirty. Then we get put in our proper room where there are pieces of the wall falling off and are all over the floor not to mention all of the BUGS in the bathroom. Not to mention the toilet in this new room barely worked (we had to go in the back and re-adjust multiple times) The door keys didn't work for either room we were in and we were kept up by the ice machine that our room was very close to. The grab n go breakfast had stale granola bars and also there were just abandoned cars in the parking lot. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel is so run down. It smells terrible. The rooms were in serious need of updating. The sheets were stained. The carpet was nasty and the shower wasn’t cleaned before I checked in. There was old used soap from the previous guest left. The kitchen was probably the cleanest thing in the whole room. I wish I would have read the reviews before booking. Lesson learned.

The plague in this place is horrible!! Nothing was good!! The bathroom was broken, there were cockroaches, the laundry didn't work, they tell you that there is a pool and it's empty. Breakfast in general is not breakfast! THERE IS NO! I don't recommend that hotel to anyone!!

The complimentary hot breakfast has been replaced by brown bagged items. Very disappointing. The non smoking room of ours had a stale smoke smell that came home with me on my clothes. Yuck! Plus, more than once I have seen scurrying critters in the room and kitchen. That makes me extremely anxious. Our most recent trip was very disappointing overall. One amenity I do really really like is your kitchen with a full fridge/freezer. ☺️ Wish more places offered that too.

The entire place smelled of whatever air freshener they use so strongly I had a headache. Our room smelled of smoke and they entire building looked very run down and old. Pool is closed I definitely. We walked in and walked out and found a different hotel. Couldn’t even stay in there longer than 15 minutes

No breakfast, no pool. The pool is empty, looks like roof damage above. That was a bummer, it does look like the pool would be pretty cool, has a fountain that runs into it. Some of the reviews I read had me scared, however our room was clean, no bugs or odor. We had a fine stay, having the kitchen was so nice. The cost is under $100 a night, so need to keep your expectations realistic.
