Good for the price

Posted Jan 16, 2017
Pros: Location, pool, comfortable clean room
Location: It's in colonial Williamsburg, lots to do and see.
Located in the heart of colonial Williamsburg this hotel is along what might be called 'hotel row' on Richmond. Close to all the attractions, many restaurants and some interesting shopping (Ripley Believe It or Not museum?!?). Not at all a luxury hotel, the Park Inn is comfortable, clean and a very good value for the price. No internal restaurant but a minimal breakfast is offered every morning. Nice indoor heated pool. Over all I would recommend giving this place a try.

Pros: clean comfortable room, great pool
The water temperature in the pool was excellent for the winter. Pleasantly warm.

Nice hotel for the price.

We were looking for someplace clean and comfortable to spend the night. This hotel fit that perfectly. Yes it's older, but everyone was extremely friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

It was nice.

This hotel by no means is a 5 star, but it's quaint and gets the job done. Since we only spent two nights in the hotel, we didn't really need all that much. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator and microwave, but both were in the lobby where they served free breakfast. The staff could have been a bit nicer, they looked like they hated their jobs. Also, our key got deactivated for 0 reason after our first night, so that was inconvenient.

Been there before.

This is our first experience since the hotel changed hands. It was a pleasing experience overall. The hotel still needs some loving care ( furniture in the breakfast lounge needs to be replaced). A little paint wouldn't hurt. We have been staying there for seven or eight years as this is the time we celebrate on anniversary each year. We love the access to shopping and the colonial village. We will be back next December.

Very nice for the price

We stay 2 nights here and went to Christmas town at busch gardens. The hotel is on what is known as "restaurant row". Lots of restaurants within walking distance, the famous yankee candle and the outlets are very close. Hotel staff was very nice. We needed a crib and they had a pack and play they brought right up to the room. There are railroad tracks right behind they hotel. We were close to them but we use a fan to sleep so we never heard the trains at night. Hotel breakfast wasnt very good but i dont expect much for $59 a night. We ate breakfast at Food for Thought. It was excellent. I would stay again.

Should checked for refrigerator/microwave in room. Really needed them, but had a cooler for meds.
