Few small problems undermine a really nice room.

Checked into the hotel about 730pm on Sunday night. The room was very large and clean but had a few irregularities in the bathroom. Clearly someone had worked on the toilet, they had left the cover off the tank. I found out after using it, the lever didn't work. I went to wash my hands and found a bat of soap already open and in the dish. I looked at the toiletries dish to see...nothing. I tried to call the front desk, but my phone didn't work. Staff was very apologetic and did attempt to fix the problem, but when I returned to my room, the phone still did not work, and I had toiletries, but it was 3 bottles of conditiner!

Overbooked

Got to hotel and was told they were overbooked. Took time to even speak to front desk because another guest was complaining about being assigned a room with another family already in there. Reservation nightmare. Had to sit on phone with Expedia for an hour to get a backup room identified. If you travel around a holiday, beware and triple check the reservation with the hotel!

Christmas break

I alway book a Marriott hotel because they are smoke free . As I walked up to the entrance of this hotel there were two people outside the door smoking and the room was in need of minor repair and neede more towels and bedding

The key did not work at first. I had to go to lobby again with my kids and luggages.but overall It was Great. quality wise satisfied.

OK, but not great

Pros: Staff and convenient location, equipped kitchenett
Cons: Needs updating, poor lighting, plumbing old, hotel cleaning only fair.
Location: Great shopping, fabulous places to eat nearby
Location was very convenient but there were 5 other 3 stars in the area. A bit run down, I'd probably try one of the newer places. The staff though was very accommodating and helpful, and made the stay pleasant.

Surprisingly Disappointed

I booked a regular room with a king bed. However, when I arrived, I was told that the only room available with a king bed was an accessible room. The limited availability of non-accessible rooms was very disappointing. Also, the room was located on the first floor, on which pets were allowed. In addition, the staff could not guarantee that pets had not stayed in the accessible room before. I have stayed at this hotel before and had no problem like this. I liked the location and proximity to shopping and restaurants, but I was soured by the room selection.

Just disappointing

Room smelly very very musty. Decor was outdated and upholstery was worn and tattered. Also neighbors had a yappy dog that was very annoying. Also room door couldn't be locked easily.

Good for groups -very comfortable

Stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath that had the rooms divided by the living room. Great for privacy and for the variety of people we had.
